"They will have enough until the end of August, they will pressure until the end of August. Then there will be a short break. In winter, they won't achieve much of anything. Well, by spring, I think it (offensive) will all be over,"

Perhaps I will stand up for the Ukrainians, who are now actively criticized on the pages of leading Western newspapers. They say they were advancing not according to NATO standards, and in general they did everything differently than the military manuals of the Alliance prescribe.
I am 100% sure that the Ukrainian infantry is much better prepared than any Western army. I would love to see how German, Polish or even American soldiers advanced for 2 months under constant artillery fire, suffering monstrous losses.
The same goes for defensive actions. Most likely, a modern soldier of the army of the Western world will not be able to sit in trenches bombarded with shells and air bombs and continue to hold positions.
The war in Ukraine, unlike all other wars after WWII, requires a colossal effort of human strength. Hundreds of thousands of dead, an endless stream of echelons with ammunition, fights at a dagger distance in the forests near Kremennaya or in the ruins of Bakhmut, forcing and overcoming water barriers, combat drones constantly hanging overhead. The training centers of England or Germany cannot prepare for such a thing.
In addition, a huge amount of effort is required from the state, the industry must bring to the surface such volumes that in peacetime could not even be dreamed of. Right now, Kiev is exchanging the lives of its people for the supply of military equipment and for money for the comfortable existence of the Zelensky clique. The sounding criticism from the West hints that the owner is not satisfied with the investments, only the owner himself was blinded by his own (false) views on the war.
The seemingly indestructible military machine of the West, especially advanced military equipment, in a collision with an equal enemy, turned out to be far from being a wunderwaffe and, in fact, the prestige of the military-industrial complex and military thought of NATO, now rests only on the stubbornness of Ukrainian soldiers. It would be funny to look at some Danes or Norwegians storming another "strategic forest field" and losing up to 10 percent of their personnel per day.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering heavy losses, their morale is falling. The Ukrainian servicemen told the "Kyiv Post" newspaper
They note that the morale in the units is falling due to constant and increasing losses. βIn a month, we have advanced only one and a half kilometers. We are moving forward by inches, but I donβt think itβs worth the human resources and equipment that we spent,β a Ukrainian military medic told the newspaper and asked not to make his name public.

Hopefully our generals understand that the enemy is slowly getting into the "tumbling" phase and now its time to hit even harder. Do not get fooled! - keep a cool head!
