الدفاع المدني ما يزال معطلا قسرا في كافة مناطق شمال قطاع غزة بفعل الإستهداف والعدوان الإسرائيلي المستمر، وبات آلاف المواطنون هناك بدون استجابة إنسانية ورعاية و إغاثة طبية.

🚒 بتاريخ 23 اكتوبر 2024 جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي هاجم طواقم الدفاع المدني في شمال قطاع غزة وسيطر على مركباته وشرد معظم عناصره إلى وسط وجنوب القطاع واختطف 10 منهم.

نطالب المجتمع الدولي والمنظمات الإنسانية بالاستجابة لنداءات واستغاثات ومعاناة آلاف المواطنين المحاصرين في شمال قطاع غزة بفعل استمرار الجرائم الإسرائيلية، والسعي الجاد لعودة عمل الدفاع المدني وتشغيل مركباته المعطلة هناك في بلدة بيت لاهيا.

Civil Defense stills forcibly disabled in all areas of northern Gaza due to ongoing Israeli targeting and aggression, thousands of citizens there without humanitarian and medical care.

On October 23, 2024, the Israeli occupation army attacked civil defence teams in northern Gaza Strip, seized their vehicles, displaced most of their members to central and southern Gaza Strip, and kidnapped 10 of them.

We call on the international community and humanitarian organizations to respond to the calls, distress and suffering of thousands of citizens besieged in northern Gaza Strip due to the continued Israeli crimes, and to strive for the resumption of the work of the Civil Defense and the operation of its disabled vehicles there in the town of Beit Lahiya.

▪️ندعو الإخوة الموطنين لاسيما النازحين في الخيام ومراكز الإيواء في كافة مناطق قطاع غزة بضرورة أخذ التدابير الوقائية اللازمة لتجنب أضرار المنخفض الجوي المتوقع حلوله غدا الاثنين حتى صباح الأربعاء.

▪️نحث الإخوة المواطنين إلى التعاون والتآزر فيما بينهم لا سيما النازحين في المخيمات، والاهتمام بضرورة تثبيت الخيام ووضع سواتر رملية ما أمكن في محيطها خشية من تدفق مياه الأمطار.

▪️We call on citizens, especially the displaced in tents and shelters in all areas of the Gaza Strip, to take the necessary preventive measures to avoid damage to the depression, which is expected to arrive tomorrow, Monday, until Wednesday morning.

▪️ We urge citizens to cooperate and support one another, especially the displaced in the camps, and to pay attention to the need to install tents and put sand berms as much as possible in their surroundings to prevent rainwater flooding.

We ask Allah for the complete safety of our people.

▪️ جيش الإحتلال دمر مخزون الدفاع المدني من معدات الإطفاء والإنقاذ والإسعاف بقيمة مليون وثلاثمائة ألف دولار

▪️في 23/10/2024 الاحتلال الإسرائيلي يخرج منظومة الدفاع المدني عن العمل في محافظة شمال قطاع غزة ويجبر طواقمه على النزوح إلى وسط وجنوب القطاع.

تم انتشال 7 شهداء وإنقاذ مصابين من منزل عائلة أبو يالة وما يزال تحت الأنفاض مفقودين يصعب انتشالهم لعدم وجود المعدات المناسبة

Our teams have recovered 7 martyrs and rescued injured from the "Abu Ryala" family home at Abdel Aal junction on Al-Jalaa Street, northwest of Gaza City. Missing people are still under the rubble, and it is difficult to recover due to the lack of appropriate equipment.

تصريح صحفي مهم:

▪️نعلن عن توقف عمل معظم مركبات الدفاع المدني في "محافظة غزة" لعدم توفر الوقود اللازم لتشغيلها، ونعمل الآن فقط بقدرات مركبة صهريج واحدة للتزود بالمياه ومركبة إنقاذ واحدة.

▪️طواقمنا باتت منذ منتصف الشهر الجاري غير قادرة على الاستجابة لكثير من نداءات المواطنين والوصول إلى أماكن الحوادث والاستهدافات الإسرائيلية، وهذا ينذر أننا أمام كوارث ومشاهد إنسانية مؤلمة تضاف إلى معاناة شعبنا في قطاع غزة بفعل استمرار العدوان الإسرائيلي.

▪️نحذر من اتساع وتكريس الكارثة الإنسانية في محافظة غزة بسبب استمرار نفاذ الوقود لاسيما مع نزوح آلاف المواطنين من شمال القطاع وازدياد الحاجة للاستحابة الإنسانية في كافة المناطق.

▪️نؤكد أن استمرار رفض الاحتلال الإسرائيلي ادخال الوقود ومعدات الإنقاذ اللازمة للدفاع المدني هو امعان في ارتكاب مزيدا من الجرائم بحق أبناء شعبنا الفلسطيني الأعزل، وانتهاك مع سبق الإصرار للقانون الإنساني الدولي.

▪️نجدد مناشداتنا لدول العالم ولمنسق الأمم المتحدة للشؤون الإنسانية وللمنظمة الدولية للحماية المدنية واللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر ولمنظمات حقوق الإنسان بالتدخل العاجل والتنسيق مع المؤسسات الداعمة من أجل إدخال كميات الوقود اللازمة وتمكين الدفاع المدني من تأدية واجبه الإنساني لأكثر من نصف مليون مواطن في المحافظة.

▪️We announce that most civil defense vehicles in Gaza governorate have stopped working due to a lack of fuel. We are now working only with the capabilities of one water tanker vehicle and one rescue vehicle.

▪️ Since mid-month, our teams have been unable to respond to many citizen calls or reach sites of incidents and Israeli strikes. This signals impending disasters and heartbreaking humanitarian scenes that add to the suffering of our people in Gaza Strip amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression.

▪️ We warn of the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza Governorate due to the continued fuel shortage, especially as thousands of citizens have been displaced from northern Gaza, increasing the need for humanitarian response across all areas.

▪️ We affirm that the Israeli occupation’s ongoing refusal to allow fuel and essential rescue equipment to enter for the Civil Defense is a deliberate continuation of crimes against the unarmed Palestinian people and a premeditated violation of international humanitarian law.

▪️ We renew our appeals to world nations, the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs, the International Organization for Civil Protection, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and human rights organizations to urgently intervene and coordinate with supporting entities to ensure the entry of necessary fuel supplies and enable the Civil Defense to fulfill its humanitarian duty to over half a million citizens in the governorate.

Our teams headed to a residential house that was targeted by Israeli aircraft opposite Sultan Bakery in the Sabra area southwest of Gaza City. During the mission, the aircraft targeted our teams, and rescuer Ali Omar was martyred, and many others were injured and transferred to the Baptist Hospital.

أحد مصابي الدفاع المدني بعد استهداف الطاقم أثناء مهمة إنقاذ بمنطة الصبرة جنوبي مدينة غزة

تصريح صحفي:

تعرض في ساعات الفجر الأولى اليوم طاقم الدفاع المدني إلى استهداف مباشر من قبل طائرات الإحتلال الإسرائيلية أثناء محاولتهم انتشال الشهداء وإنقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه من الأحياء من تحت أنقاض منزلا سكنيا تم قصفه في منطقة الصبرة جنوب غربي مدينة غزة.

أدى هذا الإستهداف الغاشم لطاقم الحماية المدنية إلى استشهاد رجل الإنقاذ البطل/ علي محمد مصطفى عمر وأصيب ثلاثة آخرين بجروح متفاوتة.

نستهجن هذا الاستهداف الإسرائيلي السافر لمقدمي الخدمة الإنسانية، والذين حثت اتفاقية جنيف والقانون الإنساني الدولي على حمايتهم.

وإذ تعد هذه هي المرة ال18 التي يستهدف الإحتلال الإسرائيلي فيها طواقمنا أثناء مهماتهم في إنقاذ الأرواح والتخفيف من معاناة أبناء شعبنا مع استمرار هذا العدوان الإسرائيلي بحقهم، ويسعى من هذه الإستهدافات إلى منع الوصول إلى المواطنين الأحياء تحت الأنقاض وإنقاذهم، الأمر الذي يؤدي إلى إعدام أكبر عدد منهم تحت أنقاض منازلهم.

وبإستشهاد الزميل علي عمر رحمه الله، يرتفع عدد شهداء الدفاع المدني إلى 87 شهيد، سائلين المولى عز وجل أن يتقبلهم ويتغمده برحمته.

One of the injured of the Civil Defense after targeting the team during a rescue mission in the Al-Sabra area, south of Gaza City.

Press release:

In the early hours of dawn today, the Civil Defense team was directly targeted by the Israeli occupation aircraft while they were trying to recover the martyrs and rescue the living from under the rubble of a residential house that was bombed in the Al-Sabra area, southwest of Gaza City.

This brutal targeting of the civil protection team resulted in the martyrdom of the heroic rescue man, Ali Mohammed Mustafa Omar, and the injury of three others with varying degrees of injuries.

We deplore this blatant Israeli targeting of humanitarian service providers, whose protection is urged by the Geneva Convention and international humanitarian law.

This is the 18th time that the Israeli occupation has targeted our teams during their missions to save lives and alleviate the suffering of our people as this Israeli aggression against them continues and seeks to prevent access to and rescue the living citizens under the rubble, which leads to the execution of the largest number of them under the rubble of their homes.

With the martyrdom of colleague Ali Omar, may Allah have mercy on him, the number of martyrs of the Civil Defense rises to 87 martyrs.
