Historically, bot-to-bot interaction was restricted on Telegram to prevent infinite message loops.
Starting today, in specific contexts, Bot-to-Bot communication is allowed – unlocking complex agentic flows and AI-powered use cases.
Out of the box, this feature will work in groups and via business mode. To start using it, simply enable the Bot-to-Bot Communication Mode for your bot via @BotFather.

Another proof that Telegram’s Secret Chats are the most secure way to communicate. The FBI got access to deleted messages in the U.S. government-funded app Signal simply by checking notification data. On Telegram, Secret Chats never show message content in push notifications, so unlike Signal and other supposedly secure apps, we don’t face this risk.
Turning off notification previews won’t make you safe if you use those apps — you never know whether the people you message have done the same. So Telegram’s Secret Chats design, which eliminates notification previews entirely, is the only solution. Obviously, this hurts usability, which is why Telegram has two types of chats: Secret and Cloud.
In general, apps that try to provide both security and usability in one type of chat end up with ugly compromises — like WhatsApp leaking 95% of messages through unencrypted backups, or Signal exposing messages through push notifications. The only way is to have two types of chats: 100% usable (Cloud) and 100% secure (Secret).
More than 12 years have passed since Telegram launched Secret Chats and started the end-to-end encryption revolution. Since then, dozens of apps have followed suit and made bold claims about their encryption. But no app has managed to beat our Cloud Chats in usability or our Secret Chats in security. They try to combine the two and end up with neither.

Today, this app got hacked in just 2 minutes.
But don’t rush to laugh at EU bureaucrats.
Their age verification app was hackable by design — it trusted the device (that’s instant game over). Unless the EU is run by clowns
Step 1 — Present a “privacy-respecting” but hackable app.
Step 2 — Get hacked (*YOU ARE HERE*).
Step 3 — Remove privacy to “fix” the app.
Result — a surveillance tool sold as “privacy-respecting”.
The EU bureaucrats needed an excuse to silently start turning their “privacy-respecting” age verification app into a surveillance mechanism over all Europeans using social media. Today’s “surprising hack” just handed this excuse to them.

Today's update reshapes how bots communicate on Telegram – unlocking cooperative multi-bot agentic flows, seamless integration in any chat, granular access controls and more.
🦀 Guest Mode and Agentic Flows
• Introduced guest mode, allowing bots to easily participate in any chat without joining it.
• Users can summon up to 3 guest bots per message – unlocking complex agentic flows in any chat. Guest bots receive only relevant messages and can inspect caller context or send replies.
• Bots can now message each other by username if they enable bot-to-bot communication.
• Account automation via Business Bots no longer requires a Premium subscription.
• Business Bots can now interact with other bots on behalf of the user.
🛡 Chat Management
• Admin bots can now remove individual message reactions, clear all recent reactions from a user or restrict them from issuing more.
• The list of chat admins can now optionally return bot administrators.
