Trump's tariffs are a first step to reduce the U.S dependence on foreign imports. I'm also convinced that a further step will be will be to call into question the status of the dollar as a global reserve currency. In my view President Trump wants to return to a kind of a gold standard to replace the dollar as the world's reserve currency

We should not attack President Trump but work with him to make it work and at the same time we should work to solve our economic problems here in Canada which are entirely our fault.

Instead of announcing counter-tariffs let's put everything on the table including supply management to negotiate a new deal with President Trump.

The gold price in USD reached another milestone yesterday when it crossed $4000.

And this morning, silver finally surpassed its all-time-high nominal price of $50.

Government paper confettis, especially the currency of the fast declining American empire, are collapsing while gold and silver are being remonetized, as I have been predicting for over 15 years.
