The “Israeli” army’s clarification regarding the incident involving the unidentified object that penetrated the airspace along the border with Lebanon last Saturday evening:

Following an in-depth investigation conducted by the “Israeli” army into the incident, the emerging assessment is that the object was most likely something with the characteristics of a balloon or a device that flies using hot air.

At this stage, its origin or purpose cannot be definitively determined. It can be stated with certainty that it was not a small drone or an unmanned aerial vehicle. It may have been a harmless object that drifted into the “territory of Israel.”

The object was detected by the Air Force’s surveillance and detection systems, which tracked it and directed forces in the field as they responded to the incident.

At the same time, as happens in every such incident, defenses in the settlements were reinforced, including local defense teams, until all relevant checks were completed.

As of this hour, the object has not been found in the field, and no changes have been made to the instructions issued by the Home Front Command.

Regarding the recent increase in reports of false detections and interception operations:

The Air Force has been conducting surveillance and interception operations on multiple fronts throughout the war.

The difference between a drone and a small bird is very slight. Therefore, no risks are taken, and as soon as a threat is detected, a rapid response is carried out, culminating in the interception of the target.

– This is a people from whom all forces of evil, no matter how tyrannical, arrogant, and brutal they become, have been unable to wrest their will or sources of strength, foremost among them the Resistance.

– The Resistance is deeply rooted in the people, who are always prepared to confront any attempt to undermine it, because it is their spirit and a safeguard for their present and future in confronting occupation and “Israeli” ambitions.

– The experiences of the past are engraved in the people’s memory, as are those of the present. They have witnessed what the occupation has done to their land and villages and the destruction it has left behind in full view of the world, under an authority that has relinquished national sovereignty over its own land.

– The authority signed away the land and entrenched the occupation in the south. It also took unjust measures against the people, showing no regard for their sacrifices.

– To this day, the authority has offered nothing to heal the wounds. Instead, it seeks to deepen them through rhetoric that distorts the facts and incites against the blood of the martyrs.

– The choice of Resistance is a national necessity that cannot be abandoned.

– Through its performance, the Resistance has presented epic acts of heroism that prevented the enemy from occupying the south and offered the homeland the finest examples of defending its very existence.

– The enemy’s occupation of certain positions does not mean it can establish itself on our land. The role of the Resistance differs from that of regular armies, as it works to wear down the occupation until it is expelled.

– The occurrence of developments does not in any way mean accepting surrender and submission. The balance of power can change.

– This authority cannot prevent its people from exercising their human, moral, and legal right. Today, we call on it to put an end to the series of gratuitous concessions and violations of the Constitution and the National Pact, and to return to the embrace of its people.

– We call on the authority not to place its hopes in foreign powers.

– We call on all Lebanese to recognize the gravity of the stage the country is going through and to adopt the language of rapprochement and dialogue instead of incitement and hatred, which deepen division and distance among the components of society.

– We affirm our commitment to building a strong and just state based on national partnership, as stipulated in the National Accord Document, one that reassures all its citizens and supports the choice of liberation through all means.

– The state has not yet set this file on the path toward resolution, whether by seeking to secure funding or completing the mechanism for assessing damage and calculating compensation payments, while the proposed text remains in the government’s drawers.

– We in Hezbollah will continue to serve our people and make every possible effort to uphold their dignity and honor. No matter what we do, we remain inadequate in the face of a martyr’s mother who raises her son’s picture with pride in what he gave.

– We remain inadequate in the face of a child who pledges to his martyred father to continue along the path, and in the face of a displaced family that has lost everything it owns but has not abandoned its faith or its legitimate right to resist.

– What we are doing is not a substitute for the duty incumbent upon the state, nor are we seeking any gain through it. Rather, it is a moral promise and commitment to our steadfast and sacrificing people.

– We are making great efforts to fulfill this commitment, and we are not concerned, in this regard, with the total amounts included in each installment of the allocated funds.

– The program covers owners of residential units that have been fully or partially destroyed, as well as owners of residential units in buildings designated for full or partial demolition, based on the assessments.

– We will begin with the first installment, amounting to $3,500 for Dahiyeh and Beirut, and $3,000 outside these areas.

– The committees tasked by Hezbollah with managing the process have a detailed list.

– Since we are all partners in addressing this issue, anyone who owns another home should share our commitment by forgoing the housing allowance, while still receiving the furniture allowance.

– This assistance will be disbursed in all Lebanese areas that were subjected to aggression. We will approach citizens on the basis of their humanity and their belonging to one homeland, viewing everyone as members of one country and one people.

– We will continue to extend our hand to everyone who has suffered damage in our country, regardless of their political stance, and we will remain true to our commitment, as we have always been.

– Hezbollah’s units conducted a comprehensive survey in southern villages and towns and in Dahiyeh. We formed specialized committees that are still completing the process of counting and surveying residential units eligible for housing assistance.

– We now have a clear picture and have adopted a flexible mechanism for preparing the list of beneficiaries and disbursing assistance. We are counting eligible residential units according to the unified survey form prepared by Maamar Company.

I appeal to everyone’s conscience, particularly within the Resistance community. We are all partners in sacrifice and mutual support, and we call for the highest levels of solidarity with the displaced.

– Some people must not rush to raise rents under the pretext that Hezbollah is providing a housing allowance.

– Dear people, this project has begun, and we will see it through. With your cooperation, we will complete it as quickly as possible.

– We tell the noblest of people that the promise of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and his companion on the path, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, as well as the commitment of our Secretary-General, will all be fulfilled, God willing. With Allah’s blessing, we have begun, driven by our moral duty toward our people.

– No matter how much we provide, we cannot give our people what they are truly owed. We are confident that we can succeed in this new challenge by relying on Allah and remaining sincere to Him, alongside the diligent work of all the committees in cooperation with honorable people, whose patience and endurance we salute.

– Through sincerity to Allah, we once again affirm the triumph of reconstruction over destruction and humanity over barbarism. To all those who bet that Hezbollah would be unable to heal people’s wounds, we say: your bet is a losing one.

– Here is Hezbollah, announcing once again, as it does at every major juncture, that it stands alongside our sacrificing people, who have not abandoned the Resistance, and whom the Resistance has not abandoned.

– What we are doing to serve our people is made possible by the blessing of the martyrs’ blood. We renew our pledge to them to continue along the path they followed.

– We have announced the first phase, which concerns providing shelter. When circumstances permit, we will announce the remaining phases. As we have said, we will not abandon our responsibility.

– Our foremost priority is to provide people with shelter and help alleviate their suffering resulting from displacement and forced eviction. We will announce the other phases successively when the appropriate circumstances are in place.

– The surveying and registration process is ongoing under the supervision of the specialized committees, and we will fulfill our duty toward everyone eligible for housing assistance.

– Regarding the checks issued following the 2024 aggression, we will disburse the housing allowances, while repair assistance will be postponed.

– Our dear people can visit the newly established centers in each area, which will be announced by the relevant authorities, to learn how to obtain payment promissory notes.

– This authority has failed to help its own people. It has not presented any program to assist those displaced from their villages that remain occupied and whose homes have been destroyed, and it has failed to fulfill its responsibility in this regard.

– We are a party that contributes and provides assistance to alleviate our people’s suffering.
