In addition, high-ranking officials within the Islamic Republic have openly threatened the United States with nuclear attacks. This regime maintains both known and hidden lobbying efforts within the U.S., aimed solely at preserving their oppressive system. They consistently distort the truth and prioritize their own interests over the welfare of the people and the nations they affect, working tirelessly to uphold this violent regime.

You are likely aware that this regime has long obstructed the Strait of Hormuz and has carried out numerous assaults on various Persian Gulf nations, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and the UAE, which has had a significant impact on global oil markets.

Given these grave circumstances, it is deeply concerning that Georgetown University would host an event featuring an individual who is a prominent lobbyist , previouse leader of NIAc and founder of NIAC —someone who has received taxpayer funding and has actively supported this regime.

We are deeply worried about the future of both Iran, our homeland, and America, our second home. We urge you to cancel the upcoming speaking engagement with Trita Parsi, who is scheduled to speak on Thursday, October 8, as well as with others like Narges Bojoghli, Sina Azodi, and Ali Kadivar, who are slated for future events.

We implore you to take a stand against the spread of this false narrative and to protect both the world and the United States from these lobbyists.
