You’ve forced our children to become parents to each other. To take care of each other after airstrikes and after their parents are brutally murdered.

How can the world do this to children?

Do not be surprised when we journalists stop covering news here. I swear by God that today I could not get up from the hunger. There is no food. Even if someone has money, there is nothing in the market to even purchase.

We are all starving. We are all dying.

I rather be killed from an airstrike, from a sniper, from a drone, from my home collapsing on me, then have to die from starvation. We are starving, why does the world not feel for us?
