The Islamic Republic of Iran has the highest number of executions in the world per capita, coming 2nd in numbers after China. There has been a spike in executions since the Woman Life Freedom revolutionary movement where tens of thousands were arrested as political prisoners. More than 800 people were executed in 2023 alone. To this we say :

More than 834 people have been executed by the Islamic regime in 2023. My father, Jimmy Sharmahd, is one of the brave freedom fighters currently in death row in Iran.
While the world is following the wars in the Middle East, the Islamic regime is using this time to commit  an execution-massacre of the Iranian population. Each one of them is innocent. Each one of them stood up for human rights and against the terrorists regime. Each one of them is an ally in creating freedom around the globe.
I stand in solidarity with political prisoners and the families of those executed.

Every state-ordered murder leaves deep wounds in Iranian society. I say no to execution and no to lynching. The regime’s crimes must not remain invisible in the blind spot.
