4 years in which we ask what have our governments done to liberate Jimmy and so many other innocent hostages?

Today @freejamshidsharmahd, @mariam_claren, and @VMehrannia 3 families of hostages in Iran are joining forces and calling on the global Iranian diaspora to join the campaign #CutTheChain.

The chains of #HostageDiplomacy do not only way down on hostages and their families, they also tie down ALL EFFORTS of the diaspora. Every time the diaspora achieved a victory the regime nullifies it in a hostage deal, where convicted criminals and billions of dollars are released. This chain reaction must be stopped!!!

We know many of you have formed powerful groups and NGOs because you care deeply about the freedom of political prisoners. But here is the truth:

Every NGO has a limited base of supporters that can achieve a limited amount of pressure on a particular western government. But what if we combined all of our NGOs to a huge network of local, national and then global forces? How much POLITICAL PRESSURE could we achieve when we don’t act alone anymore.
We have millions of voices and if these voices are combined we have POWER, we are a FORCE!
