Bitcoin knocked on the local max of $46K, but rolled back again and now, perhaps, is completing the formation of a correctional structure.
After the fall, BTC formed a βshooting starβ candlestick pattern on the chart. It is traditionally considered a bearish pattern because selling pressure encourages a long upper wick and a bearish close.
π Bitcoin made a bullish breakout on the 6-hour timeframe from an ascending parallel channel formed on January 24th. This line had already been tested twice as support two days earlier, after which BTC fell again under the high inside the channel.
It can be said that the behavior of Bitcoin gives bearish signals, but it is too early to talk about a bearish reversal of the entire trend.
The key support is now in the $41K area, while the price of BTC is $43.7K.
