Intentionally and pragmatic paradox
🔺چکیده:
Norman Malcom a well known friend of Wittgenstein argues that a computational model of human mind is incompatible with internationality of mind. He argues against the cognitive scientists who think that intentional states are contingently identical with neural states of our brain. Malcom argues that if all human behaviour had sufficient mechanistic causes then human beings would not have intentions. That leads to the "pragmatic paradox ".
