Only moments after Netanyahu's office announced the occupation government's approval of the ceasefire and captive deal, Israeli artillery launched attacks on Gaza's Nuseirat camp in a blatant violation of the agreement.
As per the agreement, the ceasefire is supposed to come into effect immediately after "Israel's" approval.
This includes a complete halt of all Israeli military operations, including airstrikes, artillery aggression, and ground assaults.

GAZA STRIP (Al-Mayadeen) — As the ceasefire took effect, thousands of displaced Palestinians began returning to their homes, or what remained of them, in Gaza City, many walking barefoot.
Around noon, the “Israeli” army announced that the Gaza ceasefire was officially in effect.
Earlier, the occupation's Army had stated that once its forces completed redeployment to the "Yellow Line", a temporary demarcation first revealed on an October 4 map shared by US President Donald Trump, a 72-hour countdown would begin, after which the Palestinian Resistance is required to release the “Israeli” captives.
According to “Israeli” reports, the exchange process is expected to conclude by Monday at noon.

🚨 "Israel" refused to release two detained Palestinian doctors, including Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, and Dr. Marwan Abu Hams, as part of the ceasefire agreement. A Hamas official confirmed the refusal to CNN.
Dr. Abu Safiya was kidnapped from Kamal Adwan Hospital last December after he refused to leave his patients during a raid. He has reportedly lost over 40 kg and suffered severe beatings while held in "Ofer" prison.
Dr. Marwan Abu Hams was kidnapped by an undercover "israeli" unit in July.
2,000 prisoners are expected to be released on Monday, including 250 with life sentences. Over 28 medical professionals remain in "israeli" custody.

The Khan Younis Municipality announced Saturday that 85% of the city has been destroyed by "Israel’s" war, leaving behind more than 400,000 tons of rubble choking streets and neighborhoods.
The mayor detailed catastrophic damage to infrastructure:
- 300 km of water networks have been completely destroyed
- 75% of the city’s sewage system has sustained severe damage
The Khan Younis municipality is also facing more than 350,000 tons of accumulated waste.
Only nine municipal teams remain operational, struggling to clear blocked roads and critical access points as fuel shortages threaten to halt operations entirely. The mayor called for urgent international support, stressing the need for heavy machinery and new power generators to replace those destroyed by Israeli occupation forces.

Al-Mayadeen: Admiral Brad Cooper, head of US Central Command, visited Gaza on Saturday, October 11, to outline plans for the establishment of a "CENTCOM-led Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) that will synchronize activities to support post-conflict stabilization."
Cooper claimed that no US troops will enter Gaza itself, with an initial deployment of 200 personnel arriving in "Israel" to monitor the Gaza ceasefire and coordinate aid.
The mission, potentially involving multinational partners from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the UAE, is purported to focus on logistics, planning, and facilitating humanitarian and security assistance “rather than engaging in combat”.

GAZA STRIP (RNN) — Resistance security forces arrested 17 wanted individuals of a zionist-backed militia, including a deputy gang leader, in the northern Gaza Strip.

“Israeli” military analyst Yossi Yehoshua:
Since the ceasefire was declared, there have been no [aid] truck thefts in Gaza, and the gangs have completely disappeared.
It has become clear that it was the [occupation] army that was controlling them, and not individual actions.
Now there is no air cover or even ground forces to protect them, and the presence of Hamas forces has crushed this phenomenon.

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs announced that 1,968 Palestinian detainees were freed from Israeli occupation prisons, including 250 individuals serving life sentences.
The release, part of phase one of Trump's ceasefire plan, also included a number of detainees serving long-term terms, as well as 1,718 detainees from the Gaza Strip who were kidnapped after "Israel's" war.
The commission stated that scenes of the freed detainees provide further proof of the brutality and crimes inflicted on thousands of Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons.

Bassem Khandaqji, liberated prisoner, writer, and winner of the Booker Prize for Arabic Fiction:
Interviewer: Hopefully all the prisoners will be freed Would you like to tell us about the suffering of the prisoners in the prisons?
I was sentenced to three life sentences in prison, and here I am today, sent forth as a liberated prisoner from inside these prisons,
Thanks to the steadfastness of our people and their valiant and mighty resistance in the Gaza Strip.
Today, I convey the deepest and most sincere expressions of pride and honor in our great people everywhere, specifically in the Gaza Strip. Peace be upon Gaza the day it fights, the day it remains steadfast, and the day it resists this colonialism.
Peace be upon Gaza the day it resurrects us alive from inside the prisons of the zionist occupation.
Interviewer: Hopefully all the prisoners will be freed Would you like to tell us about the suffering of the prisoners in the prisons?
As much as we suffered as prisoners inside the prisons of the colonialism, all this suffering we endured cannot be compared to the extent of the suffering endured by our great people in the Gaza Strip, and in the West Bank, and everywhere.
We, as Palestinian prisoners, were inside the prisons, and even the Palestinian prisoners who are now inside the prisons of the zionist colonialism, they offer the precious and the valuable, and they share with the people of Gaza the same trench in which they defend the rights of our people and in which they stand and form a solid and steadfast rock against all destructive projects aimed at liquidating our cause, displacing our people, and expelling them from their land.
And for this, the prisoners truly suffer inside the prisons of the colonialism, but this suffering merges with the collective suffering endured by our people everywhere.
