On 7 August 2026, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey signed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement in Mecca. An armed attack on any one is to be treated as an attack on all. It builds on the 2025 Saudi-Pakistan mutual defence pact and comes amid the ongoing US-Israel war with Iran, which has already produced Iranian/proxy strikes on Saudi targets and disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz and Red Sea.
Strategic impact on the four countries:
- India: Directly strengthens Pakistan by embedding it in a formal collective framework with Saudi financial/diplomatic weight and Turkish military technology. Raises the cost of any major India-Pakistan crisis. Tests India’s cultivated Saudi relationship and incentivizes faster counter-alignments with Israel, Greece, the UAE, and the Quad.
- Greece: Bolsters Turkey (already NATO’s second-largest military) with Saudi resources and Pakistani strategic depth. Gives Ankara external political cover and options outside NATO constraints in Aegean, Cyprus, and East Mediterranean disputes. Raises the political price of Greek deterrence.
- Israel: Short-term upside against the Iranian axis (Sunni collective deterrence helps Saudi). Longer-term downside: formalizes a more coherent, better-resourced Sunni bloc that includes Turkey (consistently hostile) and Pakistan (no relations, hard ideological line). Reduces dependence on the US and creates potential for independent pressure on Israel-related issues.
- United States: Clear signal that traditional partners (Saudi, Turkey as NATO member, Pakistan) no longer fully trust US security guarantees or bandwidth. Creates a parallel security architecture, dilutes American monopoly, complicates alliance management, and accelerates multipolar hedging. Washington may welcome anti-Iran effects but loses leverage.
Bottom line: Not a full “Islamic NATO” with integrated command or automatic nuclear sharing—the commitments are political and elastic. What matters is the changed calculation: Pakistan becomes harder to isolate, Turkey less constrained, Saudi less dependent on the US. India, Greece, Israel, and the United States all face a higher-cost strategic environment. This is classic balance-of-power politics as the previous order frays.

BREAKING: President Donald Trump signed two executive orders on August 6 aimed at birthright citizenship, including a measure the White House says ends birth tourism, the practice of traveling to the United States primarily to give birth so the child receives American citizenship. Stephen Miller described the action as the first time in American history that the United States has banned birth tourism.
The current fight reaches back more than 150 years. The 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868 during Reconstruction after the Civil War. One of its central purposes was to establish that formerly enslaved Black Americans were citizens, directly rejecting the logic of the Dred Scott decision, which had denied national citizenship to Black Americans. The amendment declared that people born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to its jurisdiction, are citizens.
In 1898, the Supreme Court ruled in United States v. Wong Kim Ark that a man born in San Francisco to Chinese immigrant parents was a U.S. citizen by birth. That decision became a major foundation for the modern understanding that citizenship generally follows birth on American soil, with limited exceptions such as children of foreign diplomats.
That history is what makes the modern birth-tourism debate so contentious. The original Reconstruction problem was whether Americans emerging from generations of slavery could be denied citizenship. Today, the political dispute includes a very different situation: foreign visitors intentionally traveling to the United States for childbirth while expecting the child to obtain citizenship automatically.
Trump’s new policy attempts to draw a sharper line between those circumstances. The administration argues that American citizenship should not function as an incentive for planned birth tourism, while opponents argue that the Constitution’s citizenship language cannot be narrowed by presidential action simply because the circumstances surrounding a birth are different from those contemplated in 1868. The Supreme Court rejected Trump’s earlier, broader attempt to restrict birthright citizenship on June 30, making the legal boundaries especially important.
So the larger question is not whether the 14th Amendment was connected to slavery. Historically, it clearly was. The harder question is how the broad citizenship guarantee created during Reconstruction should apply to a modern immigration practice that did not exist in anything resembling its present form when the amendment was ratified.

🔻 WHAT THEY FOUND IN THE PENTAGON FILES: THE GENERAL WHO TRIED TO STOP TRUMP
I know who he is.
August 9th, 2026. 09:23 EST. The classified briefing landed on Trump’s desk. Not from the CIA. Not from the NSA. From the new Attorney General.
Todd Blanche was confirmed 50-49. And his first act was to deliver a file that changed everything.
The file had one name at the top. A four-star general. The one the media is calling “Trump’s top general looking for an off-ramp from Iran.”
They’re not telling you the whole story.
The general had been in contact with 7 foreign intelligence agencies. He had been feeding operational details to entities that wanted the Iran war to fail. He had been working against Trump from inside the Pentagon for 14 months.
Why?
Because the general’s name was on the list. The same list with 847 names. The same list from OPERATION-FINAL-ACCOUNTING.
He wasn’t looking for a diplomatic off-ramp. He was trying to SURVIVE.
When Trump saw the file, he understood: The betrayal wasn’t just political. It was MILITARY. The Deep State had placed their operatives at the highest levels of the armed forces. Not just bureaucrats. Generals. Admirals. The command structure itself.
This is why Trump called off the Iran strike on August 8th at 16:23 EST.
Not weakness. Not hesitation. PRECISION.
He needed Blanche confirmed first. He needed the DOJ under control. He needed the legal architecture in place before the military arrests began.
Now Blanche is confirmed. Now the DOJ is controlled. Now the arrests can begin at the highest levels.
What happens when a four-star general is arrested for treason?
What happens when the American people see a military tribunal for the first time in modern history?
What happens when the names are released?
The general thought his rank protected him. He thought his connections protected him. He thought his position inside the Pentagon made him untouchable.
He was catastrophically wrong.
The file is sealed. The evidence is secured. The arrest warrant is signed.
The restoration doesn’t stop at bureaucrats. The restoration reaches the generals.
Pay attention to what happens next.
I know who he is.

Ripple and $XRP are already playing at a level most market players haven’t reached yet👇
What gets me is not one announcement. It is the combination Ripple has spent years assembling.
75+ regulatory licenses globally.
And that footprint just became even stronger. In July 2026, Ripple received its full MiCA CASP authorization in Luxembourg, making its regulated crypto-asset services available across all 30 countries in the European Economic Area. Ripple also holds an EU EMI license and says it now has more than 75 regulatory licenses worldwide.
Now connect that regulatory foundation to what Ripple actually operates.
Payments. Custody. Liquidity. Treasury management. Prime brokerage. Stablecoins. Tokenization.
And $XRP is not sitting outside that ecosystem.
Ripple itself states that RLUSD and XRP underpin its solutions, and describes Ripple as a company whose products use XRP, RLUSD and other digital assets.
That is the part I keep coming back to.
A lot of crypto projects have tokens.
Others have technology.
Others have licenses.
Ripple has spent more than a decade putting regulation + institutional infrastructure + blockchain + XRP into the same financial ecosystem.
Its payments network already covers 60+ markets and has processed more than $100 billion in volume.
Now imagine what happens as regulated digital finance becomes normal instead of experimental.
That is the future I’m positioning my attention toward.
$XRP isn’t waiting for Ripple to start building.
Ripple has been building the world around it for years.
Still bearish?

Ripple’s official announcement from 9 January
Ripple (via its UK subsidiary Ripple Markets UK Ltd) received:
An Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licence from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Cryptoasset Registration under the UK’s Money Laundering Regulations (MLRs).
These permissions allow Ripple to expand its licensed Ripple Payments platform so UK institutions can send cross-border payments using digital assets under a regulated framework. Ripple handles the underlying blockchain and operational complexity; clients get the rails without building the infrastructure themselves.
Exact scope and hard limits
This is not a blank-cheque retail crypto licence. FCA conditions are restrictive:
No services to retail clients without prior written FCA consent.
Cannot issue electronic money or provide payment services to consumers, micro-enterprises, or charities (at this stage).
No crypto ATMs, no appointing agents or distributors without prior written consent.
The activity is deliberately confined to institutional / wholesale use cases. This is consistent with how the FCA has been sequencing crypto permissions ahead of the fuller regime.
Regulatory context (the important part)
This sits in the current transitional framework. The UK is moving cryptoassets fully under the Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA). MLR-registered firms will need to apply for full authorisation under the new regime. Applications were expected to open around September 2026, with the new rules taking effect around October 2027. The EMI + cryptoasset registration is a meaningful step that lets Ripple operate and scale now, but it is not the final state.
London has been Ripple’s largest office outside the US since 2016. The company has repeatedly described the UK as core to its strategy, with ongoing headcount growth and university funding via the University Blockchain Research Initiative.
What this actually means for payments and XRP
Institutional on-ramp in a major financial centre: UK banks, fintechs, and corporates can now access regulated digital-asset payments infrastructure more cleanly. That is the practical value.
Ripple Payments already connects to global payout partners. The UK licence plugs a significant jurisdiction into that network.
XRP and the XRP Ledger remain the settlement layer Ripple builds on. The licence does not “approve XRP” as a security or anything similar; it expands the regulated environment in which digital assets (including XRP as a bridge asset and RLUSD) can be used for institutional flows.
This sits alongside Ripple’s broader licensing push (75+ licences/registrations globally by mid-2026, including subsequent EU EMI and full MiCA CASP authorisations). Regulatory coverage is the company’s primary institutional selling point.

WOW. This brave Christian migrant from Iran walked up and WENT BERSERK on the proposed Islamic Center in McKinney, TX — straight to the council's face
A Christian immigrant from Iran delivered an emotional warning to the McKinney, Texas, City Council over a proposed Islamic center, drawing on his own experience living under Iran’s Islamic government. He argued that Americans should understand the implications of Sharia law and warned officials against dismissing concerns from people who have experienced religious restrictions firsthand. He also described friends who, according to him, faced imprisonment or death in Iran after leaving Islam or criticizing religious authorities, urging Americans to protect religious freedom and the separation of religion and government.

Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed's Father-in-law and Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations
Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed is married to psychiatrist Sarah Jukaku. Her father—El-Sayed’s father-in-law—is Dr. Jukaku S. Tayeb (also referred to as Tayeb Jukaku or Jukaku Tayeb), a Michigan nephrologist of Indian origin.
Documented roles:
President of CAIR-Michigan from 2005 to 2010; remains on the board.
Member of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Founders Committee since at least 2007. This is a small leadership/donor group that requires significant annual contributions (minimum $5,000).
Both CAIR and ISNA were named unindicted co-conspirators in the 2007–2008 United States v. Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism-financing case in U.S. history. Federal prosecutors explicitly listed them among entities “who are and/or were members of the US Muslim Brotherhood.” Court evidence included financial ties and organizational links to Hamas. A federal judge later ruled there was ample evidence supporting the designations.
Neither group is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization by the U.S. State Department, but the trial record and related federal documents treat them as part of the historical U.S. Muslim Brotherhood network.
Tayeb has also been a major donor to El-Sayed’s political efforts, contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars (reported totals reaching $200,000–$300,000) to the Fighting for Michigan Super PAC that supported El-Sayed’s 2026 Senate primary campaign.
These connections have been reported in detail by the Washington Free Beacon, referenced in Senate subcommittee hearings on the Muslim Brotherhood network in America, and covered by multiple outlets examining campaign finance and organizational histories.
Campaigning with Hasan Piker
El-Sayed did campaign with Twitch streamer Hasan Piker (commonly misspelled Hassan). Confirmed joint appearances include campus events at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University in April 2026, plus additional campaign-related events in the days before the August 4 primary (including a pre-primary gathering).
In an August 2019 Twitch livestream, Piker stated: “America deserved 9/11, dude. Fuck it, I’m saying it.” He later walked the remark back in part, calling the wording “inappropriate” and framing it as a critique of U.S. foreign policy creating conditions for the attacks. He has repeated related comments in subsequent years. The original quote is not disputed.
When pressed during the 2026 campaign, El-Sayed declined to disavow Piker’s past statements. He described efforts to force a repudiation as “gotcha” politics and “cancel culture,” while separately stating he does not believe the 9/11 attacks were justified. He defended the decision to appear with Piker on the grounds that it reached voters otherwise locked out of the political process.
