Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed's Father-in-law and Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations

Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed is married to psychiatrist Sarah Jukaku. Her father—El-Sayed’s father-in-law—is Dr. Jukaku S. Tayeb (also referred to as Tayeb Jukaku or Jukaku Tayeb), a Michigan nephrologist of Indian origin.

Documented roles:
President of CAIR-Michigan from 2005 to 2010; remains on the board.

Member of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Founders Committee since at least 2007. This is a small leadership/donor group that requires significant annual contributions (minimum $5,000).

Both CAIR and ISNA were named unindicted co-conspirators in the 2007–2008 United States v. Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism-financing case in U.S. history. Federal prosecutors explicitly listed them among entities “who are and/or were members of the US Muslim Brotherhood.” Court evidence included financial ties and organizational links to Hamas. A federal judge later ruled there was ample evidence supporting the designations.

Neither group is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization by the U.S. State Department, but the trial record and related federal documents treat them as part of the historical U.S. Muslim Brotherhood network.

Tayeb has also been a major donor to El-Sayed’s political efforts, contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars (reported totals reaching $200,000–$300,000) to the Fighting for Michigan Super PAC that supported El-Sayed’s 2026 Senate primary campaign.

These connections have been reported in detail by the Washington Free Beacon, referenced in Senate subcommittee hearings on the Muslim Brotherhood network in America, and covered by multiple outlets examining campaign finance and organizational histories.

Campaigning with Hasan Piker
El-Sayed did campaign with Twitch streamer Hasan Piker (commonly misspelled Hassan). Confirmed joint appearances include campus events at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University in April 2026, plus additional campaign-related events in the days before the August 4 primary (including a pre-primary gathering).

In an August 2019 Twitch livestream, Piker stated: “America deserved 9/11, dude. Fuck it, I’m saying it.” He later walked the remark back in part, calling the wording “inappropriate” and framing it as a critique of U.S. foreign policy creating conditions for the attacks. He has repeated related comments in subsequent years. The original quote is not disputed.

When pressed during the 2026 campaign, El-Sayed declined to disavow Piker’s past statements. He described efforts to force a repudiation as “gotcha” politics and “cancel culture,” while separately stating he does not believe the 9/11 attacks were justified. He defended the decision to appear with Piker on the grounds that it reached voters otherwise locked out of the political process.

When financial regulatory agencies like the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) indicate they are prepared to advance crypto regulations independently of congressional action (such as the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act), they rely on their existing authority under federal law—specifically the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA).

1. The Steps the CFTC Will Take
To implement rules without a new statute, the CFTC utilizes administrative mechanisms that mirror the collaborative "Project Crypto" framework established alongside the SEC:
Joint Interpretive Guidance and Taxonomies: The CFTC and SEC coordinate to define asset classes. By formally classifying tokens that function outside of traditional investment contracts (such as decentralized utility tokens or digital commodities), the CFTC establishes jurisdiction without needing Congress to rewrite definitions.

No-Action Letters and Staff Advisories: The CFTC’s divisions (e.g., Division of Market Oversight, Division of Clearing and Risk) issue targeted advisories granting legal safe harbors to registered entities (like Designated Contract Markets and Derivatives Clearing Organizations) that list or clear digital asset derivatives.

Notice-and-Comment Rulemaking: For permanent regulations, the agency drafts formal rules published in the Federal Register, undergoes public comment periods, and subsequently votes on final implementations regarding spot market oversight, around-the-clock (24/7) trading infrastructure, and custody standards.

Onshoring Derivatives and Products: The CFTC uses its approval powers to bring offshore products (such as crypto asset perpetual contracts) onto domestic, regulated exchanges.

2. How Long Will It Take to Implement?
The timeline depends heavily on the regulatory mechanism chosen:

Immediate to 3 Months (Guidance & No-Action Relief): Joint agency statements, interpretive guidance, and staff no-action letters can take effect almost immediately upon publication. This offers rapid, short-term clarity for market participants.

6 to 18 Months (Formal Rulemaking): Full notice-and-comment administrative rulemaking—which requires drafting proposals, reviewing public feedback, and passing commissioner votes—typically takes between 6 months to a year and a half.

The Caveat (Litigation Risk): Rules implemented purely through executive agency action rather than congressional legislation are inherently more vulnerable to legal challenges under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), which can stretch timelines out over years if challenged in federal courts.

3. How It Will Impact XRP
The regulatory shift and the CFTC stepping up its framework carry several direct implications for XRP:

Consolidation of "Digital Commodity" Status: Because joint SEC-CFTC guidance establishes that digital assets can transition out of being investment contracts—and given the resolution of past regulatory disputes—XRP benefits from a clearer pathway to being treated primarily as a digital commodity or utility asset when traded on secondary markets.

Access to U.S. Derivatives and Futures: With the CFTC actively carving out frameworks for digital commodity derivatives and onshoring products like perpetual contracts, regulated U.S. exchanges face fewer regulatory hurdles to list XRP-referenced futures and structured products.

Institutional Adoption and Custody: Clearer jurisdictional lines between the SEC and CFTC remove the compliance gray areas that previously deterred traditional financial institutions, custody providers, and asset managers from integrating XRP into institutional portfolios.

🚨 JUST IN: BlackRock's Larry Fink calls tokenization "the next generation for markets."

Here's what nobody's connecting.

BlackRock doesn't have to announce anything for its tokenized Treasuries to reach the $XRP Ledger. They already do.

Ondo Finance runs OUSG on the #XRPL. OUSG holds BlackRock's BUIDL fund as its reserve backing. That's $212M of tokenized Treasuries live on the ledger right now.

Fink is describing a future. The $XRP Ledger is running the plumbing for it: 3 to 5 second settlement, 24/7, compliance built into the protocol, and $4B in real world assets already onboard.

The next generation of markets doesn't need to be built. It needs a ledger. And it already picked one.

BREAKING: Massachusetts moves to create a “Muslim Commission” to help place Muslims in government and shape state policy.

The bill orders it to “identify and recommend qualified American Muslims for appointive positions at all levels of government.”

ABORTION UNTIL BIRTH.

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey signed the bill.

Democrats celebrated.

This is not a fringe claim. This is the law now in Massachusetts.

The previous 24-week limit is gone. The decision sits with the physician alone.

A child who can survive outside the womb can now be aborted right up to the moment of birth.

They smile for the cameras and call it progress.

This is the moral bankruptcy of a political movement that has abandoned the most vulnerable among us.

Share this if you refuse to look away.

200,000 dead people still collecting food stamps.
500,000 people double-dipping benefits.
And that’s just from the states that actually turned over their data.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins exposed it. Blue states are fighting to keep their rolls hidden and are suing to stop the cleanup.
Dead people don’t need groceries. Fraudsters don’t get to keep draining taxpayers while the truly needy wait.
Every single state should be audited—yesterday. No more protecting the fraud.
America First means the program serves Americans who need it… not ghosts and grifters.

Audit every single state.

🚨 JUST IN: BRICS is discussing linking national fast-payment systems and CBDCs for cross-border trade and this is where the $XRP Ledger becomes extremely relevant.

The $XRP Ledger was built for cross-currency payments. It can move value from one currency or token into another within the same payment and settle the transaction atomically.

The deeper $XRP connection is auto-bridging.

If two currencies do not have an efficient direct market, #XRPL can automatically route the payment through XRP when XRP provides the better liquidity path:

Currency A → $XRP → Currency B

XRPL documentation itself uses examples such as USD → $XRP → MXN to demonstrate how XRP can function as an intermediary bridge between two different currencies.

There is also a direct CBDC angle.

#Ripple has previously described XRP as a neutral bridge asset that can help move value between different CBDCs and currencies, while its CBDC infrastructure has been built using technology derived from the $XRP Ledger.

So imagine multiple sovereign digital currencies needing to communicate with each other:

Digital Rupee 🇮🇳 → $XRP → Digital Dirham 🇦🇪
Digital Yuan 🇨🇳 → $XRP → Digital Real 🇧🇷

This does NOT mean BRICS has chosen XRP or that any of these central banks are currently routing their CBDCs through XRP.

But the underlying problem BRICS is now exploring is clear: how do you efficiently connect multiple sovereign currencies, CBDCs and payment networks for cross-border settlement?

That is precisely the type of interoperability problem the XRP Ledger was designed to solve.

BRICS problem: Cross-border interoperability between currencies and CBDCs.

XRPL capability: Native cross-currency payments and liquidity routing.

$XRP’s potential role: A neutral bridge asset connecting one currency to another when it provides the most efficient path.

BRICS has not announced XRP integration — but the infrastructure they are discussing moves directly into one of XRP’s strongest original use cases: bridging value across different currencies and payment systems.
