Surveillance video showed Long circling the behind the boy before he attacked him.
Luckily, the boy survived.
That same morning he hit a man in the face with a sledgehammer.
The attacks came only 4 days after he was released from a jail when prosecutors declined to charge him in a January case where he was arrested for aggravated assault with a pole and a knife.
And he's a convicted sex offender out of Nebraska.
A 2016 Omaha conviction for third-degree SA of a child, with a minor victim. It lists him as having absconded in 2022.
