It’s astonishing to see the uniparty in Australia completely destroying the legitimacy of Parliament as a Democratic institution, just to appease foreign lobby groups and to hold onto a fading illusion of power.

The brazen banning of a political party and policing the Australian people on the basis of speech & ideology literally puts cops at war with the public. That’s what their “hate-crime” laws will look like in practice.

When you stop to think about it, it’s crazy that people avoid reflecting on what they physically and visibly are.

Instead they work hard to construct a make-believe, highly individual identity based on ideas, titles and moral prejudices.

A European woman for example rarely looks in the mirror and sees a White woman from a distinct region or tribe.
She prefers to see an ADHD admin worker, a depressed feminist, a professional activist for whatever makes her feel morally superior, or maybe a unique bipolar goth with a complex personality she expects someone to care about.

What people actually are and their family lineage isn’t interesting or trendy enough I suppose. Maybe this is why Napoleon said imagination rules the world.

But fretting about our physical limits isn’t very inspiring. Imagination is vital for doing stuff, since when we imagine ourselves being great or doing great things that’s what gets us moving and drives us to achieve something.

The takeaway here is imagination is a double-edged sword. We should use imagination to motivate ourselves and achieve an outcome. We probably don’t benefit so much from developing egotistical delusions about how special we want others to think we are, despite never doing anything remarkable.
