A chink in the system’s armour has appeared in the form of the Attorney-General of Queensland apparently being unwilling to support the government’s hate-crime laws in totality.

An Attorney-General is a chief law officer and the top legal advisor to the government in their respective state or territory.

Five other Attorneys-General from other states are supporting the government, which isn’t surprising considering the government pays their salaries.

This fight begins tomorrow, September 8th. It’s White Australia VS the system, and one rogue Queenslander is coming into the mix with unknown intentions.

This morning I saw this post and it really got to me.

At first I didn’t understand why the image of the priest hurt me more than the others. I’m not religious in the common sense of the term and that particular Bishop isn’t our guy. He’s Assyrian I think, I’ve never spoken with him.

I remember the incident though. That picture was captured immediately before he was stabbed during a sermon. This occurred in Sydney a couple of years ago.

Throughout the day I thought about why I cared for the welfare of a random priest more than I did for the injustice in the stories behind the other images.

Then I realised it wasn’t that particular priest but the killing of priests generally that bothered me.

I thought about what a priest actually is: A speech-maker and igniter of the collective soul. Every community has its priests, religious-based or not. Whole nations form around these rare people geared to speak and write dreams into reality.

I believe this understanding is deeply instinctual, because there are men I know who still to this day will drop everything else in their personal lives and travel across the country to defend their speech-makers.

If you ask them why they do it they won’t always nail the explanation, they just intuitively know it’s more important than anything else they could’ve done that day.

I’ve seen this instinct turn plumbers and factory workers into soldiers willing to bear any sacrifice in defence of their collective interests, but only if their speech-makers are there to move them to the task.

Killing (or silencing) priests is like deleting fragments of a community’s soul, because without its speakers and with no proper use of the word no nation, church or gang can generate the hope or the purpose to protect itself and push on through time.

It’s a deep subject matter, but I think it’s a good and relevant one to wrap your head around.

Basically, anyone who wants their nation or community to survive should never think twice about defending its priests, because these next few years will be very consequential and the last of our speakers are coming forward.

You really can’t ignore it anymore

If you want to understand what’s behind all the turmoil in Australia right now then you need to understand the story.

Every society has a story it tells its citizens, it’s how you get everyone more or less on the same page to achieve a certain outcome.

The story is told by the schools, Hollywood, the government and every institution that matters.

Since the Second World War the story has been the same and it’s the only one you’re supposed to believe.

Your participation in society is actually conditional upon your willingness to believe it. If you want to bank, trade and stay out of trouble then you had better retell the story and not think too much about it.

Like all stories crafted for the masses it has a simple good vs evil dynamic; something to strive for and something to hate.

In the story we’ve been told, racial-equality is good and Nazi racists are bad; Multiculturalism is the goal and ethnic nationalism should be destroyed.

But there’s a problem. The story is bullshit.

Adherence to the story is degrading us and everything we care about.

If you believe your lying eyes, the closer the story brings us to its logical conclusion the worse our conditions become, to the point where even those ‘racist Nazis’ can start making a lot of sense.

Obviously, if we want peace then the story needs to change. We need a new story more in line with the reality of things and this needs to happen in spite of all the kicking and screaming that’s bound to take place in the process.

But the real problem we face is the old story isn’t just a mistake, it’s a plan.
