That proposition is a FALLACY.

There is no society without individuals, therefore the “rights of society” DEPEND on the rights of each individual being upheld. They cannot, and must never, compete with individual rights.

The ‘Reform’ proposal also seems to want to put more power into the hands of legislators, and give less discretion to our judges, who are supposed to be there to CHECK and BALANCE the legislative powers!"

I generally don't have much use for Yuval Noah Harari as he allows himself to be "harnessed" by World Economic Forum et al. "to get what [they] want" (New Power, Heimans). Much of it serves as fantasy, storytelling, for technology (much not nearly as advanced as they would like you to believe), that ultimately serves as a great distraction for the great reset into unprecedented hardship and chaos. That being said, this clip is very well thought out and on point. From the April 2018 Ted Talk "Why fascism is so tempting -- and how your data could power it", it is very pertinent today.

"OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to revoke use of the Emergencies Act, according to two senior government sources, now that the protest in downtown Ottawa is over.

Trudeau is expected to make the announcement in Ottawa at 4 p.m. eastern time.

The sources spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

A motion confirming the time-limited powers granted under act passed the House of Commons Monday evening, but a separate motion on the act is still being debated by the Senate.

The irony.

CBC (Canadian media) played a pivotal role in painting the truckers freedom convoy as hateful racists, in servitude to the Canadian Government.

This afternoon, a CBC crew went into a ditch in Ottawa.

Guess who pulled them out? A protestor, from the truckers freedom convoy, with a "DEFUND the CBC" hat on.

Most likely out of shame and guilt, one of the CBC correspondents took to Twitter to thank him.

This tweet, stating the trampling of Mohawk Elder was misinformation (CBC), retweeted by Ashley Burke, CBC. The death was a rumour, but the trampling was not.

February 22, 2022: "DT chosen to help create global health passport"

"The World Heath Organization, which had such a great pandemic, wants to ‘facilitate’ its 194 member states to introduce digital vaccination certificates. To do so it’s setting up a ‘gateway’ to standardize the issuing of QR codes that confer privileged health status to their owner. Deutsche Telekom subsidiary T-Systems has been chosen as an industry partner to develop the vaccination validation services.

“Corona has a grip on the world,” said Adel Al-Saleh, CEO of T-Systems. “Digitization keeps the world running. Digital vaccination certificates like the EU’s are key to this. We are pleased to be able to support the WHO in the fight against the pandemic. Health is a strategic growth area for T-Systems. Winning this contract underscores our commitment to the industry.”

Such assertions would have carried more weight a year ago but, with the UK ending all Covid-related restrictions and many other countries headed in that direction, this renewed zeal for the mandating of vaccines proven to have limited efficacy is baffling. It’s almost as if organizations like the WHO are reluctant to relinquish the massive increase in their power the pandemic conferred...

The WHO intends this system to apply to other vaccinations too, so it’s not even hiding the planned mission creep. A system like this could easily be adapted to attach other conditions to international travel, thus facilitating a global social credit system."
