Goverment plans to ditch the Human Rights Act and replace it with a Bill of Rights raise serious concerns.
We are running a short series of "spotlight analysis" on some of the proposals and the first is below.
Spotlight analysis - part 1
One of the most damaging outcomes of the proposed reforms is that Ministerial decisions could become untouchable. At the moment, citizens can go to court to challenge rules made by ministers without parliamentary scrutiny – secondary legislation – if rights are at risk.
Stephanie Boyce of the law society had this to say about the above: -
"The proposed Bill of Rights seems to elevate ministerial diktat to the same level as laws made by parliament by preventing courts from overturning ministerial decisions which violate rights".
“This would inevitably lead to delays and ongoing breaches of human rights, which could concern life, liberty, safety and security".
“The government is also looking to shield key parts of the state machinery from being held accountable to the people".
"They want to do this by limiting the ability to claim compensation for confirmed rights violations from public authorities in certain circumstances, and even want to make public authorities immune from rights challenges if they are deemed to be giving effect to legislation passed by Parliament, no matter how damaging the impact on the rights of individuals.”
If you need to think about the above in "real world" terms, think about Matt Hancocks raft of regulations (secondary legislation), written during the last 2 years. Under the proposed human rights reforms/Bill of Rights you would not be able to challenge them even if they violate your human rights. In essence secondary legislation is elevated to the same status as primary legislation under the proposed reforms, even though the former is written at the behest of a minister and undergoes virtually no parliamentary scrutiny.

I agree with this. If it wasn’t so serious, it would be laughable that these “vaccines” went from start to finish in well under one year.

🚸 SANCTIONS ARE AGAINST US
Not only sanctions are an act of war and do not achieve anything positive; but sanctions against another economic power from which you depend for energy and grain and other trade are designed to backfire on the populations living in the countries which impose them.
This means sky-rocketing fuel and grain prices in every country that "sanctions Russia".
Just like the damage of the scientifically unnecessary and counter-productive lockdowns was blamed on the "pandemic", the rising fuel and grain prices will be blamed on the "Russia-Ukraine war" instead of on the counter-sanctions that will inevitably mirror the "sanctions on Russia" back on the populations of the sanctioning countries.
Sanctions are not the way to end a war, diplomacy is. Yet they are cutting all diplomatic relations with Russia at a time when they are most important.
It is all a massive scam on us, the populations of the West as usual. Make no mistake, these sanctions are not designed to hurt Russia, they are designed to hurt us.
They are also a stepping stone to the "cyber-pandemic" as now there is always Russia to blame and the gullible population are more likely to believe it.

My point: we need to oppose these hypocritical "sanctions on Russia" as they have no use in stopping wars, are generally used to start them instead, and are to all effects sanctions on us and a way to lock us out of energy and grain rendering the prices extortionate.

From 2015 but you get the idea: 35% of gas to Europe (minimum) comes from Russia. Now they want to "sanction Russia". This will raise oil and gas prices which will benefit oil and gas shareholders but will hurt the working and middle classes of our own countries, not Russia. Once again the sanctions war is against us, not Russia.
Then there's the grain and soy imports too that will be subject to scarcity and sky-rocketing prices because of the "sanctions on Russia" (they are sanctions on us of course).

Between them, Ukraine and Russia account for nearly a third of the world’s wheat exports, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Kyiv is a major source of grain for such key markets as China, Egypt and much of the Middle East.

Russia earlier suspended the movement of commercial vessels in the Azov Sea until further notice, but kept Russian ports in the Black Sea open for navigation, its officials and five grain industry sources said on Thursday.
Ukraine is a major exporter of corn (maize), much of it destined for China and the European Union. It also competes with Russia to supply wheat to major buyers such as Egypt and Turkey.
