It’s a precursor for glutathione isn’t it? Glutathione is the master antioxidant, recycles vits A,C& E so that they can keep on working. Interestingly, paracetamol (Tylenol) depletes glutathione levels. So I think people should stay away from taking Tylenol ever if poss, but definitely when suffering from viruses or infections. Also Tylenol lowers fever. Fever is your immune response and how your body fights viruses.

Again, with NAC - lots of people react badly to this supplement (those with a lot of allergies/ high histamine for example can have skin rashes etc).

Exactly that. Obviously things sit on a continuum.
If you have very slight symptoms you’re less likely to be an effective source of infection than if you are floridly unwell.
The cool thing about this scenario though, is that the more symptomatic you are, the less likely you are to be out & about, potentially infecting others.
This is why lockdown hasn’t worked anywhere. Lockdown mostly affected those who were fit & well and going about your business.
Obviously such restrictions only caused social & economic destruction with no redeeming features.
Transmission continued unaffected in institutions (hospitals & care homes) and to an extent in domestic homes.
This now seems so obvious & unarguable that no one should ever propose lockdown ever again.
