Once verified, the ACSP submits the verification details to Companies House via the Companies House ACSP online service (launched April 8, 2025). This submission includes the individual’s verified personal information

Backend Link to GOV.UK One Login:

Companies House associates the verified identity data with a GOV.UK One Login profile in their system for record-keeping and audit purposes. If the individual DOESNT have a GOV.UK One Login account, Companies House CREATES a record in the GOV.UK One Login system for them! This stores the verification data for future compliance

The individual isn’t required to actively set up or even access this account themselves!

Why the Link Exists:

The GOV.UK One Login system serves as a centralised form of digital identity platform

The bottom line:

Even if an individual uses an ACSP to avoid direct interaction with GOV.UK One Login, the verification will still be recorded in this system "to meet legal and regulatory requirements"

In summary, the ACSP handles the verification process, and Companies House creates and links the data to a GOV.UK One Login in the backend to maintain a standardised record, without requiring the individual to ever be involved in the creation of the same"

"Children as young as 13 could be forced to have digital ID cards under ‘sinister’ plans to expand the role of the state in people’s lives.

A petition against digital ID signed by almost three million people has been dismissed by ministers who vowed to press ahead with imposing them before the election.

In a formal response, the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology said the government would introduce ID cards for everyone aged 16 and over by the time of the next election.

And, in a significant extension of the scheme, the department said ministers will now consult on bringing in so-called 'Brit Cards' for children as young as 13.

The response also suggests that the scheme will expand far beyond the original proposal to tackle illegal working – with ID cards potentially needed to access a wide range of public services. It states that digital ID will eventually become people’s ‘boarding pass to government’...
