Hello Paul!

I was so pleased to read your long article sent round in the email group. 

Other than me, you’re the only qualified person I’ve come across who has dispassionately taken apart the statements of senior scientific advisors and, discovering that they are
(1) not true & 
(2) said by a person who knows them to be untrue & therefore they’re 
(3) a liar.

Nobody else than you & me are taking this approach.

It’s so important that we do call out lies & liars, for their advice is what passes for government policy everywhere these days.

I go further than you. I have taken the same methodical approach that you have and extended it to every one of the major narrative points about this virus & ‘measures’.

I have concluded that 
(1) every one of these main narrative points are false &
(2) each has from time to time been asserted by highly qualified people who know perfectly well that what they’re saying is untrue & therefore they’re 
(3) a liar 

Now, this is the case about every main point, which I list below:

(1) the virus is novel, so no immunity to it & very much more lethal than anything else we’ve encountered.
(2) there are no treatments.
(3) PCR is a reliable test of clinically important infection 
(4) the virus can be spread by infected people without symptoms 
(5) masks protect against transmission 
(6) lockdowns slow transmission through the community 
(7) variants formed during virus replication are more dangerous & some will escape immunity 
(8) it’s uncertain if you can be infected twice 
(9) the vaccines are safe & effective

The reason I’m contacting you is not only to say thank you for your approach but to assert that doing this is the only way we have any hope of waking enough people up.

Why? 

Simply because the public are not scientists. It’s no good at all sparring with the scientists advising our respective governments, claiming our scientific views indicate much less risk than we’re being told.

The public cannot weigh up the competing positions &zz find in our favour. To find against their own government’s scientists is to discard everything they’ve been told, in a heartbeat, and they’re never going to do this, ever.

BUT if it is correct to say “they are lying” and prove it, that’s a categorically different task asked of the audience. 

Now they’re asked “has the case been made convincingly that government scientists are lying?”

I think it’s so obvious that they are lying & there’s a decent chance that the audience will accept that they’re lying.
