Germany: Gas and diesel could soon be rationed
German authorities are preparing the economy for possible energy rationing. “Numerous companies have contacted us because they have received letters from their gas suppliers telling them that their energy supplies may be rationed or shut down in the future. The measures are being taken against the background of the Ukraine war.
A scenario that was considered unthinkable just a few weeks ago could become reality: that German companies can no longer produce because the authorities are turning off the gas tap.
In addition to gas, diesel is also likely to become scarce soon, and there is a risk of rationing here too. [IAF: consider the impact not just on trucking/supply chain, but on farm equipment/food production].

Ukraine cuts Russian gas to Europe, threatening energy supply
Kiev cites "force majeure" to halt a third of Russian transited gas flow to Europe, while Gazprom says there have been no issues that would justify the move.
Gas from this connection will not be accepted into the transit system of Ukraine starting at 7 am on Wednesday, OGTSU said. Sokhrankovka accounts for almost a third of the Russian gas that transits through Ukraine to Europe – up to 32.6 million cubic meters per day – according to the operators.

Russian gas conglomerate Gazprom has received no confirmation of force majeure or any obstacles to continued transit of gas through a junction in Lugansk Region, the company said on Tuesday, after Ukraine’s operator OGTSU announced it would halt further deliveries starting May 11, due to the presence of “Russian occupiers.”
Gas Transit Services of Ukraine (OGTSU) declared force majeure on Tuesday, saying that it was impossible to continue the transit of gas through a connection point and compressor station located in the Lugansk area.

Without natural gas supplies, there are immediate animal welfare problems on the farms. From the hatchery to the barn to the slaughterhouse, all companies in the poultry industry are dependent on the energy source. [IAF: and thus, these are being shut down by design.]
Short-term energy restrictions would have "an immediate impact on the food security of the residents".
The poultry industry is energy-intensive. "For the Lower Saxony poultry industry alone, including the production of poultry feed [!!!] we have calculated an annual gas requirement of around 1,735,311 megawatt hours."

Libya declares force majeure on oil exports after weeks of protests and port blockades.
This is major news on its own, but also needs to be considered from Europe's perspective:
- 6% of EU oil & gas imports are from Libya and were just taken off the table.
- 34% of EU oil and 55% of gas comes from Russia, which is being throttled
- Freeport terminal in TX was blown up and cannot send LNG
- UK just announced they'd stop gas exports to EU if there were shortages
- EU and UK are both frantically burning gas just to generate electricity now, instead of storing for the winter ahead!
- Greenhouses, food plants and facilities are ALREADY SHUT DOWN due to the cost of energy — and somehow things keep blowing up! This is an absolute CONTROLLED DEMOLITION.
Europe is being strangled !!
