It has been a journey. Beginning on 6 February 2022 in the half-light of Cape Reinga | Te Rerenga Wairua and The Bluff | Motupōhue, with a river of trucks, cars, caravans, and motorbikes, travelling our island nation to New Zealand’s Parliament. Frustrated with legal overreach, they converged in an extraordinary sea of people, to strongly protest the Ardern government’s blatant disregard of New Zealanders’ natural human rights.

The playlist had people dancing together in the mud, singing along to the #Macarena, #BabyShark, #JamesBlunt’s 🎶You’re Beautiful. #CelineDion’s most famous song from the Titanic played, altered for full effect - a child’s recorder blasted during the chorus: 🎵#MyHeartWillGoOn - very poor taste 💔 especially looking back now at the data. With outdated c-v-d propaganda/government messaging as the ad break before the playlist began again. #disturbing yet spirits remained high as the people supported each other, singing and dancing together. ☔️💃🏻❤️🕺🏾🎶
