It opts you into the digital ID infrastructure & eventually you will get a code to bank, live etc. We can make a, reasoned assumption that it will be a code because they are telling us via the company director procedure that's what it will be
You won't need to wave your smartphone at anyone. You will just have to wave your correct code. A smartphone is not even necessary for this system 🤬

From 18th November 2025, a new legal requirement will require all company directors and people with significant control to verify their identity.
It is important to get this done as soon as possible.
Once you are verified, you will get a personal code that you will need to send to us so that we can file your next confirmation statement.
In order to verify yourself, you will need your personal identity documents such as passport or driver's license.
The simplest way to verify is via the Verify your identity for Companies house service.
This link will take you to the correct page to start the process.

So i tried calling companies house to establish another way to verify my ID to be able to "identify myself" and be allowed submit tax returns and hence run a company
I said i don't want a digital ID, she said its "compulsory" and i explained that regardless of it being labelled as compulsory they still require my consent and i do not give it.
She conceded i was correct.
I do not wish to form any new agreement with them.
Look at the terms and conditions and who they share all your data with and what they share.
Its literally EVERYONE and his dog.

I do not want people from outside the EU having my data, which it says openly it will share it with.
I do not want a digital government app on my phone.
I do not consent to it, any of it.
Now I have a British passport that has bio metrics on it.
I have a British driving license , a registered British address and im on the electoral register at that address.
Ive been registered as a business for 9 years with them and lets be honest there really is no doubt as to who i am.
So i do not need to convince then who i am to continue paying them my taxes.
I spent a long time taking to the lady and she admitted it is indeed a digital ID, the plan is to then insist that anyone who then WORKS for these digitally registered company directors also has a digital ID or they will i suspect be fired or pushed out and they cant claim benefits either without a digital ID due to "benefit fraud" they will say.
The directors would be breaking the rules of the agreements by employing those with out a Digital ID
This is how they will blackmail you into your digital ID.
This is the mark of the beast mentioned in the bible.
So do you then pack up work ?
If you decide to quit working and claim benefits, again due to "benefit fraud" they will declare they need you to have a digital ID to get paid your digital payment.
She said there is another way to do do it and gave me the number 0300 373 9020 to call, simply because she had no help to offer, but that number is simply a automated service with no one to speak to and it eventually gives out another number which is 0303 1234 5000

From 18th November 2025 as soon as the first company that you are a company director or LLP member of has a confirmation statement due then it is from that point that they want you to be ID verified otherwise the confirmation statement cannot be filed. You can check the companies/LLPs you are linked with as to their confirmation dates through the following link:

With regards to PSCs (who are not a company director or LLP member) from 18th November 2025 they want you to be verified within the first 14 days of your birth month.
What you can do now is check when your company confirmation statement is due with the link above by entering your company details. If it is due before 18th November 2025, file it straight away or ask your accountant to file it before the Digital ID comes into place on that date. This can buy you time.
As always, united non compliance can win this, if enough people do not comply they can't have their One Login Digital ID system working.
