Official documents confirm that the NPCC operated and centrally monitored a UK-wide practice of not recording certain COVID-related crime reports.

One internal email even describes this as “guidance to not record” and measures its “success” by the near-total absence of recorded crime.

This practice cannot be reconciled with:

• NCRS and HOCR
• CPIA 1996
• the Victims’ Code
• or basic principles of policing by consent.

Our published briefing sets out two case studies - (1) the Speirs Directive in Scotland and (2) CRN 6029679/21 in London, showing how this practice operated in real-world policing.

The Metropolitan Police have placed conditions on this protest march and rally. We are peaceful, and we are lawful. This is the highly anticipated demonstration of mass non-compliance that the Metropolitan Police have tried to censor, suppress, and make as difficult as possible for me to organise—bowing to those who have also tried to stop our message from being seen and heard. The state and their masters do not want this lawful protest to have its intended impact, and they are doing everything they can to silence us.

But we stand firm.
