Here Agamben explains his concept of "bare life" and adds this at the end:

"Where is the figure of bare life today in question in the handling of the pandemic? It is not so much the sick person, who is isolated and treated as never before in the history of medicine; rather, it is the infected one, or more particularly the asymptomatic unwell [il malato asintomatico], as he has come to be called in a contradictory expression — something that any man is, virtually, and without knowing it. At issue is not so much health, but a life that is neither healthy nor sick, which, as such and as potentially pathogenic, can be deprived of its freedoms and subjected to prohibitions and controls of all kinds. All men are virtually asymptomatic patients in this sense. The only identity of this life, fluctuating between sickness and health, is as the recipient of swabs and vaccines, which, like baptism for a new religion, define the inverted figure of what was once called citizenship. This baptism isn’t indelible, but necessarily provisional and renewable; the new citizen, always required to present his health certification, will no longer have inalienable, inseparable rights [inalienabili e indecidibili], only obligations that must be constantly decided and updated."

In their trial of just 1,131 children age 12 to 15:

life threatening events 0.1%
diarrhoea 8%
vomiting 3%
headaches 65%
fever 20%
fever > 40°C 0.1%
severe adverse event 0.6%
severe injection-site pain 1.5%
adverse events reported 3%

This means Pfizer predicts causing in EVERY 10,000 CHILDREN:

10 (0.1%) in life-threatening condition
800 (8%) diarrhoea
300 (3 %) vomit
6500 (65 %) headaches
2000 (20 %) fever >40°C
60 (0.6%) severe adverse event
150 severe pain 1.5%
300 (3%) adverse events

Dear Robin,
This is a rare basic science paper. I’m afraid it looks like a fraud.
It claims to investigate the fate of the Pfizer vaccine & whether anti-syncytin-1 antibodies circulate after vaccination.
They studied vaccine disposition but did NOT examine appearance of spike protein itself. Bizarre.
The worst deception is use of methods to detect anti-syncytin-1 which minimise the chances they’ll be found. The serum is diluted only one time at 1:50. What about at lesser dilutions?
But the most egregious deception is in the writing. The authors claim no binding to syncytin-1 is found. But they looked ONLY very early (days 1-4 after vaccination) or very late (4-7 weeks).
I’d expect examination at day 14-21 to be most informative.
They state no binding is seem, or rather that levels far below those defined at positive. Therefore no possible problems with pregnancy?
Look at Figure 2, right panel. I interpret the binding of antiserum to recombinant human syncytin-1.
In fact, I was right to dispute the early time for detecting antibodies, because on the left panel, there aren’t any anti-spike antibodies at a time where there’s definitely a three-fold increase in binding to syncytin-1. I don’t understand how the authors could write as they do. It’s as if they didn’t look carefully at their own figures.
Note, they diluted only at 1:50.
Note, they examined only too early & too late.
They also pre-blocked the binding plates with high concentrations of bovine serum albumin. I wouldn’t have.
I think if they were LOOKING for binding to syncytin-1, it would be easy to find.
Look at later times, like 14-21 days after vaccination.
Test more different serum dilutions.
Try different pre-blocking conditions.
I’d appreciate others reviewing this paper as well.
