شاهرخ مشکین‌قلم از معدود رقصندگانی‌ست که تنها خود نمی رقصد بلکه دیگران را با واژگانش
می‌رقصاند.
او مجموعه‌ای‌ست از مفاهیمی که مدام در حال حرکت‌اند. منظومه‌ای‌ست از شعر و شعور تاریخی. دیدن او کفایت نمی‌کند و باید او را شنید.
شاهرخ اساطیر و مفاهیم مربوط به آنان را جویده و مرزهای واقعیت و خیال را در زبان و حرکات بدنش پشت سر گذاشته است.
پس درنهایت در تعریف او به این گزاره‌ی این‌همانی کفایت می‌کنیم:
شاهرخ، شاهرخ است.

He continued working with great directors such as Phillippe adrien (A Streetcar Named Desire), Christophe Rauck (Twelfth Night), and Antoine Campo (La Diva and directed plays by Mirzadeh Ishqi and Iraj Mirza.
