According to the Saudis, 12 people with nationalities, 4 Saudis, 2 Bangladeshis, 1 American, 1 Egyptian, 1 Syrian, 1 Jordanian, 1 Sudanese and 1 Palestinian were killed and at least 309 others were injured in the attacks of the Yemeni armed forces on Riyadh airport. Saudi also announced that the amount of material damage of this attack is not yet known and is being evaluated.

Mohammed al‑Bukhaiti, a senior member of Ansarallah in Yemen, told The New York Times that the movement takes responsibility for Saturday’s attack on Riyadh, stating that it was carried out in response to Saudi attacks — including strikes on civilian infrastructure inside Yemen.
Al‑Bukhaiti said the operation was intended to deliver a message to the world: airports, ports, wedding halls, funeral venues, hospitals, and markets in Yemen are civilian facilities and must not be targeted or harmed.
He stressed that the same rules protecting such facilities in Yemen must be applied everywhere else in the world.
