Slogans were inscribed by commanders from the General Security, the Ministry of Defense of the de facto authority, and allied tribal militias — = ISIS — on commercial shops in the al-Masaken al-Khadr neighborhood of al-Suwayda city, during the shelling of the district and the entry of tanks into an area inhabited solely by unarmed civilians.

The slogans included:
• “Allahu Akbar”
• “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah”
• “Idlib al-‘Izz” (Glory to Idlib)
• “Abu Qatada from the heart of Suwayda”
• “Republican Guard – Idlib”
• “Abu Muhammad Ma‘arat from the middle of Suwayda”
• “Abu Ja‘far”
• “A symbol of a mustache and scissors” — a reference to cutting the mustache, which is considered a sacred symbol among the Druze community.

🔹 These extremist inscriptions underscore the use of sectarian incitement as part of systematic crimes committed against civilians.

“We are survivors of genocidal massacres and mass executions. Suwayda must be declared a disaster-stricken city after the barbaric terrorist assault carried out by the General Security and the Ministry of Defense under the de facto authority. They came under the pretext of protecting civilians, but in reality, they were the ones who committed massacres against the people of the governorate. They killed us in the name of religion. They are ISIS themselves.”

“We heard cries of ‘Allahu Akbar’ and ‘Our leader forever is our master Muhammad.’ Then we heard explicit orders from a General Security officer to his men: ‘Enter with the tanks, shoot them all, I want to see a river of blood flowing from the stairs to the end of the street.’ He confirmed that these orders came directly from the leadership in Damascus: ‘Spare no one — neither old nor young, no woman, no youth, no elder. Everyone must be liquidated.’
