One of the perpetrators has been identified as Ahmad Hasan from Daraa. The attack was carried out by the 44th Brigade of the Syrian Ministry of Defense, under the command of Colonel Binyan Al-Hariri from Daraa, as part of a series of assaults conducted by forces loyal to the de-facto authority led by Ahmad Al-Joulani (HTS).

This massacre constitutes a grave crime and violation committed by the General Security Forces, the Ministry of Defense, and allied terrorist militias, operating under the de-facto authority, during their assault on Suwayda. The 44th Brigade of the Syrian Ministry of Defense carried out an extrajudicial execution of the victims.

These militants—members of the de facto authority—are beyond any form of moral reformation. Their minds cannot be re-programmed to align with human values or the principles of dignity, coexistence, and respect for others. Their thinking remains captive to extremism, their emotions chained to hatred and exclusion, and their hostility extends to everything that is good in this life.

When we highlight an immoral act or a crime committed against humanity, we do so to hold accountable the perpetrators, those who encourage them, and those who choose silence in the face of their abuses.

The documented video shows a member of the so-called “Interim De Facto Government” on the Suwayda–Damascus highway verbally assaulting and directing sectarian insults at university students belonging to the Druze community. He is heard issuing threats, declaring: “We have come to slaughter you.”

Surveillance footage (IP PTZ cameras) operated by the “Public Security” and the Ministry of Defense of the de facto terrorist authority 👈🏻 (the Red Brigades) shows activity at the site south of Omran Roundabout, approximately 100 meters west of the Military Police headquarters, near Bayt Karbah (next to Frouj Khaled). The route begins at the first right turn descending towards Al-Uruba School, then turns right — leading to Al-Awaj Bridge and reaching the municipal stadium.

The footage clearly documents:

• Smoke rising from the burning of properties, vehicles, and commercial establishments.

The IP PTZ surveillance recordings from the “Public Security” and the Ministry of Defense confirm that every field operation — from the entry of convoys to the execution of shelling, looting, arson, deliberate killings of unarmed civilians, intentional destruction of property, and sectarian incitement — occurred under direct supervision and real-time broadcasting to the top command center, which issued the operational orders moment by moment during the commission of these crimes and violations.
