استهداف أكثر من 600 ألف مدني في الأحياء السكنية الشيخ مقصود، الأشرفية، وبني زيد من قبل فصائل إرهابية مدرجة على قوائم العقوبات الدولية، وهي ذاتها الفصائل المنضوية ضمن سلطة الأمر الواقع التابعة لحكومة دمشق بقيادة أبو محمد الجولاني، يُشكّل جريمة حرب وانتهاكًا صارخًا للقانون الدولي الإنساني.

The targeting of more than 600,000 civilians in the residential neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid by terrorist factions listed under international sanctions—the same factions operating within the de facto authority affiliated with the Damascus government and led by Abu Mohammad al-Jolani—constitutes a war crime and a grave violation of International Humanitarian Law.

Jihadists members of the de facto authority, led by Abu Mohammad al-Jolani (Ahmad al-Sharaa), with the direct participation of units under the Ministry of Defense—including Division 62 (al-Amshat), Division 72 (Sultan Murad), Division 76 (Hamza), and Division 80 (Nour al-Din al-Zenki)—carried out an attack on the “Grand Mosque” near the al-Jabanat area in Sheikh Maqsoud, using heavy machine guns and mortar shells.
