Khaled Fajr Hospital in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo has been transformed from a refuge for patients into a site of immediate danger, after being subjected to repeated artillery and mortar attacks, despite the presence of children, women, and elderly patients inside.

Over the past two days, terrorist factions within the Ministry of Defense of the Transitional Government have intensified their attacks on besieged neighborhoods in Aleppo, with a direct focus on targeting hospitals, medical facilities, and civilians. Khaled Fajr Hospital was struck four consecutive times last night, then targeted again this morning and shortly thereafter, bringing the total to five shelling incidents today alone.

Documented footage from inside the hospital shows large numbers of patients accompanied by their families, including children, women, and the elderly, living under extremely dangerous humanitarian conditions amid ongoing bombardment.

In this context, Dr. Walat Mamo issued an urgent appeal calling for the immediate cessation of attacks on the hospital and civilians, urging international organizations to intervene without delay to protect patients and medical staff.

In a highly dangerous development, terrorist factions within the Ministry of Defense of the Transitional Government declared Khaled Fajr Hospital a military target, constituting documented evidence of premeditated criminal intent to attack a medical facility protected under international humanitarian law. This escalation threatens the hospital’s complete shutdown and the further deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the neighborhood.

A drone operated by terrorist factions within the Ministry of Defense of the transitional government once again targeted Martyr Khaled Fajr Yassin Hospital, which is sheltering a large number of civilians injured as a result of the continuous shelling carried out by these factions over the past three days.

This shelling followed an official announcement by the Ministry of Defense designating the hospital as a military target, further confirming the deliberate and premeditated nature of the attack against a protected medical facility.

This repeated targeting comes as part of a systematic pattern of attacks against medical facilities and the wounded, exacerbating the humanitarian catastrophe and threatening to force the hospital completely out of service.

Jihadists members of the Ministry of Defense of the Transitional Government – De Facto Authority carried out an extrajudicial execution of two staff members from Othman Hospital in Aleppo’s Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, following the raid by terrorist factions on the area last Thursday.

• Adnan Aref Othman – born 1968 – hospital technician – Kurdish

📍 Location of Execution: inside Othman Hospital, following strikes with several RPGs and the subsequent storming of the hospital by the terrorist-aligned Ministry of Defense fighters.

• The two victims, along with a third person, were detained inside the hospital.
• Attempts by their families to contact authorities for information revealed, with photo evidence, that the victims were executed by gunfire inside the hospital.
• Relatives confirm that the victims were civilians, unarmed, with no affiliation to any military or political group, and were performing their duties providing medical care to the wounded.
