• This incident demonstrates the subjection of a civilian child to questioning based on political/ethnic affiliation, constituting a violation of children’s rights and the fundamental principles of civilian protection.
• Content published on the personal social media account of the individual involved indicates allegiance to the de facto authority of an extremist nature, adhering to radical ideology and originating from ISIS and other terrorist organizations.
• The Syrian Civil Defense is supposed to function as an independent and neutral humanitarian body, not to engage in extremist or ideological conduct toward civilians, especially children.
• The White Helmets have previously been involved in controversial actions, including the collection and concealment of the bodies of victims of the coastal and Suwayda massacres.

🔴 Incident: Jihadist members of the de facto authority’s forces, led by Abu Muhammad al-Jolani (Ahmed Al-Shar’), arrested the civilian Ali Rjooh and his father Musab Rjooh on charges of participating in protests.

• Ali Rjooh is known as one of the brave men who actively participated on the frontlines to extinguish fires in his area.
• He has consistently initiated charitable acts and contributed to serving his community, making the arrest of him and his father arbitrary and a clear violation of their civil rights.
