Anton Nell, DeFi developer and senior architect at the Fantom Foundation, tweeted that he and Andre Cronje have decided to quit DeFi and cryptocurrency and will shut down about 25 applications and services on April 3, 2022, including Yearn, Keep3r, Solidly etc. Anton Nell said, “this is not a knee jerk reaction to the hate received from releasing a project, but a decision that has been coming for a while now”. Previously, Andre Cronje had already cancelled his Twitter account and amended his LinkedIn profile to indicate that he had stopped working on Yearn.Finance, Fantom, and the broader Ethereum ecosystem.
