What is Moving Average (MA)?
If we find average of past 200 day's closing price, and draw a point on chart everyday on the average value, it forms a waving line on price chart. We call it 200 Day Moving Average (MA-200).
How to use it?
If MA-50 and MA-200 lines cross each other, it is a strong signal for upcoming reversal in price trend. Timeframes larger than 4-hour are more reliable.
When MA-50 line goes above MA-200, it is called Golden Cross, it is usually bullish. Similarly, when MA-50 goes below MA-200, it is called Death Cross. It is usually bearish. BUT regardless of those, You should NOT rely on the words "Golden" and "Death". Look at price chart by yourself and prepare for a trend Reversal.
Also, you sometimes get alerts for Super bullish chart setups 🔥🔥 along with MACD cross, which are based on certain charting theories. You can learn more about MA and MACD with a simple google search.
