According to Downdetector platform, users started reporting problems after 18:00 UTC.

The messenger has been unavailable for over an hour. After 19:50 UTC, Telegram started to restore service.

People Nearby and Groups Nearby No Longer Visible

Our subscribers report that both People Nearby and Groups Nearby have disappeared from the "People Nearby" section.

The @tginfo team does not have any information on whether this is related to the recent events in Paris.

You still can see users nearby if they are added to your contact list. Of course only if they tapped "Make myself visible" there.
