Hello there fellow theme enthusiasts, long time lurkers and random passersby! We are pleased to let you know we've got something new and exciting in store for both those curious about making themes for the first time and experienced theme designers looking for a challenge.

So without further ado we proudly announce the first ever monthly Telegram Theme Challenge!

At the start of every month, we will announce a new theme or topic to base a theme on. All you have to do to participate is to make a theme that fits that topic and submit it to @TelegramThemes with the hashtag #themechallenge.

We’ll publish the best submissions from that month on the channel in a special new Theme Catalogue that will be home to all the best submissions, as well as other curated collections of themes.

Even if your great new theme doesn’t fit the current challenge, you can naturally still submit it to @TelegramThemes using the hashtag #theme. The group is also a great place to get tips and ask for advice, and we will still keep publishing the best submissions to this channel on a regular basis.
September Theme Challenge
We thought we’d start the theme challenges off with something more seasonal — the autumn season to be specific. Show us what parts of autumn you like the most with your theme, whether that be the falling leaves, seasonal animals or what the season means to you in your part of the world.

Submit your theme to @TelegramThemes with the hashtag #themechallenge. The deadline for submissions is the 30th September at 23:59 GMT, and the best submissions will be showcased soon after.
Thanks to everyone who created a theme for the first Theme Challenge!

After some careful consideration we’ve collected the best submissions to share with you all over the next few days - special thanks to the authors responsible for them.

(after we’ve posted the top picks we'll announce the next challenge, so keep an eye out 👀)
October Theme Challenge
Following from last month’s challenge this one may seem a little predictable, but we simply couldn’t resist (plus we’re way too impatient to wait another year). This month’s challenge is Halloween! Oh yes! 👻

Spooky environments, spooky costumes, spooky candy, spooky creatures, SPOOKY EVERYTHING.

Submit your spoookiest theme to @TelegramThemes with the hashtag #themechallenge. The deadline for submissions is the 25th October at 23:59 GMT, and the best submissions will be showcased soon after. 👻

After the successful conclusion of last month’s first ever Telegram Theme Challenge, we're excited to reveal to you yet another new thing we’ve been working on for a while – the Theme Catalogue!

It’s a shiny new hub on Telegraph featuring not only the top themes submitted for every Theme Challenge, but also curated collections based on themes published here. We think this will be a great way to find themes based on styles you know and love or to even discover a whole new style of theme you never knew you liked before.

Be sure to check in regularly as we will keep improving this catalogue in the future, adding new collections and updating existing ones to cover as many different styles as possible.

Just in time for Halloween, we have our top pick from the October Theme Challenge. Thanks once again to everyone who submitted a theme, and a special thanks to those whose themes were selected. 🎃

Unfortunately, only one Desktop theme was good enough to survive this year's zombie apocalypse. Battered and bruised, but unbowed, that theme was...
November Theme Challenge
No matter what side of the hemisphere you're on, November's rainy and stormy weather puts us in the mood for some quiet relaxation. So, to set aside the seasonal focus of the previous two months we've decided to make the Theme Challenge of this month on Meditation.

Instead of looking for themes that evoke a particular setting or object, consider this month's challenge to be specifically about the design of your theme. We're looking for themes that focus on clarity and that make use of colour in subtle ways, letting the elegance of the interface shine through.

Submit your theme to @TelegramThemes with the hashtag #themechallenge. The deadline for submissions is the 30th November at 23:59 GMT, and the best submissions will be showcased soon after.
