Turns out Minnesota’s busted daycare scene is doing more than scamming taxpayers.

Now it’s funding politicians out of state, too.

Two Minneapolis “childcare” centers gave a grand each to Ubax Gardheere, a Somali candidate running for office in King County, Washington.

That might sound random until you remember Minnesota’s Somali-run daycare fraud schemes have already been caught stealing millions in public funds.

You know, those daycare companies without a single child, exposed by Nick Shirley.

Why are shady operators in one state bankrolling elections in another?

Gardheere, a self-described “single black immigrant mother,” says she’s focused on housing and equity.

Fine. But voters might want to ask why childcare centers 1,500 miles away are so eager to help her win.

Especially when those same types of centers have been flagged in massive fraud investigations tied to fake kids, fake meals, and real money.
