Biden tapping the Strategic Pretoleum Reserve to relieve inflationary pressures his spending binge has created is the height of irresponsible statesmanship. He’s putting his own near-term political interests above the long-term national security interests of the country; and in the meanwhile, the problems resulting in this inflation crisis are not only being ignored, they’re actually being exacerbated. Biden re-nominating Jerome Powell, who has vowed to continue printing money into next year, has sadly made clear that America’s inflation crisis is still in the early stages.

Then we made cars. 🤷‍♂️

Science believed that washing your hands before surgery was a waste of time.

Then we discovered bacteria. 🤦‍♂️

Science believed there would never be a nuclear bomb.

Then we set one off in the desert in New Mexico. 👽

That’s why anyone who tells you “the science is settled” or “trust the science” is not actually a scientist at all. They are a priest masquerading as a scientist, just wearing a lab coat instead of a frock.

Real scientists know that science is never settled, and it’s always OK to question anything. That’s how we progress our species.
