Kernel 5.2 Is Out, Tutanota Launches a Fully Encrypted Calendar, ISPA UK Announces Internet Hero and Villain Nominations, Tesla to Start Providing a Free Self-Driving Chip, and System76's Thelio Desktop Now Available with Third-Gen AMD Rizen Processors
@uselinux
News briefs for July 8, 2019.

Kernel 5.2 has been released. Linus
Torvalds writes, "...there really doesn't
seem to be any reason for another rc, since
it's been very quiet. Yes, I had a few pull requests since rc7, but
they were all small, and I had many more that are for the upcoming
merge window. Part of it may be due to the July 4th week, of course,
but whatever - I'll take the quiet week as a good sign."

AryaLinux Provides the Building Blocks for a Unique Linux Experience
@uselinux
AryaLinux is something different, and when it comes to Linux operating systems, different can be very intriguing. Arya is both a distribution and a platform. That means you can use it as is or turn it into a branded computing system to meet your own specialized needs. Not all potential users want or need to turn Arya into their own Linux build. However, if you like tinkering, you can. [More...]

How to automate your cryptocurrency trades with Python
@uselinux
Unlike traditional stock exchanges like the New York Stock Exchange that have fixed trading hours, cryptocurrencies are traded 24/7, which makes it impossible for anyone to monitor the market on their own.

Often in the past, I had to deal with the following questions related to my crypto trading:

@uselinux
@uselinux

@uselinux
@uselinux
@uselinux

How I've adjusted my work-from-home habits
@uselinux
I've been a remote worker during various chapters in my career, and have tried to carry those lessons into each new remote work experience. At the end of last year, I switched to a job that lets me work from home. Fast forward to the COVID-19 outbreak; even though I was no WFH novice, I found myself having to adapt just like the many other workers who've been suddenly thrust into remote work.

In hopes of easing that transition, here are some healthy remote work habits to adapt during a pandemic.

Crowdsourcing App Takes Aim at COVID-19

COVID-19 researchers have a new source of distributed computing power: crowdsourcing. Usually crowdsourcing involves information or opinion gathering, but in this case it involves computing power. By installing the Folding@home software program, anyone with a computer, gaming console, or even some phones and compute cycles to spare can contribute to the work of coronavirus researchers.
