⚑️In his lengthy address on the occasion of the β€œFatah day”, Afghan Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani said:

β€œWe intend to have positive engagement with the world. Afghans are people of jirgas and dialogue. We consider dialogue with everyone preferable for resolving problems.

But if anyone has ill intentions, they should learn a lesson from the history of the defeats of the British, the Soviets, and the Americans.”

After the military coup against the only elected president in the history of Egypt,

Bassem Youssef appeared on his show dancing over the victims of the Rabaa massacre, chanting for General Sisi, who carried out the coup.

Bassem Youssef did not only justify the Rabaa massacre against Egyptians protesting for their vote to be respected,

he also participated in the siege and starvation of Gaza, since those he danced for participated in the siege.

After the Egyptian army Generals arrested the democratically elected Egyptian president, Mohamed Morsi,

millions of Egyptians demonstrated peacefully, demanding the protection of electoral legitimacy and rejecting the coup against their democratic choice.

This video is not from Gaza, but from Rabaa Square, where the Egyptian military opened live fire on peaceful protesters to disperse the protests.

This civilian Egyptian woman, wearing a hijab, whose only weapon was her phone to document the scene, was shot in the neck by a sniper from the Egyptian army and killed.

The US & EU involvement in the Rabaa massacre and the coup in Egypt.

Egyptian public personality and economist Mourad Aly:

During the Rabaa sit-in, Mr. Gerard Steeghs, the Dutch ambassador to Egypt at the time and the EU representative (currently the Dutch ambassador to the UAE), contacted me trying to mediate an end to the sit-in.

His proposal included dispersing the sit-in and holding early elections. When I asked him who would guarantee that such an agreement would actually be implemented, he answered frankly: β€œThe United States. It is the only party that has real influence over the Egyptian army leadership.”

During the conversation, the Dutch ambassador admitted that what happened in Egypt was a military coup, but he also explained that European countries had decided not to call it that, a clear indication of their implicit support for what happened and their recognition of the new regime.

It was obvious that the West fully adopted what happened on July 3 and provided it with political cover, even if their public support varied in intensity.

Their main dilemma was how to justify this position to Western public opinion, which finds it difficult to accept the overthrow of a democratically elected president shortly after his victory, especially after the January 25 revolution that the world had admired.

In the end, the Western decision was clear:

Democracy is acceptable only when it is under control. But if it produces a political reality that displeases Western interests or threatens Israel’s supremacy in the region, it becomes a β€œdanger” that must be eliminated early.
