After the Egyptian army Generals arrested the democratically elected Egyptian president, Mohamed Morsi,
millions of Egyptians demonstrated peacefully, demanding the protection of electoral legitimacy and rejecting the coup against their democratic choice.
This video is not from Gaza, but from Rabaa Square, where the Egyptian military opened live fire on peaceful protesters to disperse the protests.
This civilian Egyptian woman, wearing a hijab, whose only weapon was her phone to document the scene, was shot in the neck by a sniper from the Egyptian army and killed.

The US & EU involvement in the Rabaa massacre and the coup in Egypt.
Egyptian public personality and economist Mourad Aly:
During the Rabaa sit-in, Mr. Gerard Steeghs, the Dutch ambassador to Egypt at the time and the EU representative (currently the Dutch ambassador to the UAE), contacted me trying to mediate an end to the sit-in.
His proposal included dispersing the sit-in and holding early elections. When I asked him who would guarantee that such an agreement would actually be implemented, he answered frankly: “The United States. It is the only party that has real influence over the Egyptian army leadership.”
During the conversation, the Dutch ambassador admitted that what happened in Egypt was a military coup, but he also explained that European countries had decided not to call it that, a clear indication of their implicit support for what happened and their recognition of the new regime.
It was obvious that the West fully adopted what happened on July 3 and provided it with political cover, even if their public support varied in intensity.
Their main dilemma was how to justify this position to Western public opinion, which finds it difficult to accept the overthrow of a democratically elected president shortly after his victory, especially after the January 25 revolution that the world had admired.
In the end, the Western decision was clear:
Democracy is acceptable only when it is under control. But if it produces a political reality that displeases Western interests or threatens Israel’s supremacy in the region, it becomes a “danger” that must be eliminated early.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Five years ago today, on 24 Asad 1400 Solar Hijri (August 15, 2021), through the assistance of Almighty Allah and the struggle and sacrifices of the brave Afghan people, Afghanistan was liberated from the American occupation, and the capital and provinces of the country were retaken by the forces of the Islamic Emirate. Praise and gratitude be to Allah.
On the occasion of this great victory and conquest, we extend our congratulations to our people, the Mujahideen, the relatives and families of the martyrs, widows, and orphans, and we pray to Almighty Allah to forever protect our homeland from occupation, aggression, wars, and insecurity, and to enable our people to enjoy peace, tranquility, and prosperity under the auspices of the Sharia-based government.
It is incumbent upon all Afghans to express their gratitude to Almighty Allah on the occasion of this great victory, to continue making greater efforts toward the realization of the aspirations of Jihad, and to serve their people and homeland in solidarity with their Sharia-based government.
