This Shia cleric is Moussa al-Sadr, the founder of Lebanon’s Amal Movement.

He traveled to Libya in August 1978 and disappeared there on August 31 with his two companions, Muhammad Yaqub and journalist Abbas Badreddine.

Gaddafi’s regime claimed at the time that the three had left Libya for Italy, but Italian investigators said they found no evidence that the three had ever entered Italy…

Their fate remains unknown to this day.

Wildfires in Algeria

Many Algerians online say that the fires were deliberately started.

What is strange is that the fires in Chattaba Forest, Constantine Province, appear to have started from four different directions, drawing what looks like a map of Algeria!

Unofficial sources say that hundreds have been killed in the provinces of Jijel, Tizi Ouzou and Bejaia

Meanwhile, the Algerian authorities say that only 12 people have been killed
