In case you’re wondering what goes on in the Jordanian Parliament:
One MP: “Anyone who doesn’t love the King should get the hell out of Jordan, and damn his father and grandfather!”
Another MP: “May Allah never grant success to anyone who doesn’t love the King!”
Another MP: “Whoever doesn’t love King Abdullah doesn’t love Allah!”
Another MP, shouting: “Long live His Majesty the King!”
Another MP: “I demand the dissolution of the already dissolved Islamic Action Front!”
Another MP: “Thank you to our intelligence services, with their iron fists!”
Another MP: “All our government ministers are free men who love their country, and not a single minister in our government is a traitor!”
Another MP: “Long live the King, forever and always, and let every traitor beware!”

Did you notice the sharp decline in interest in Gaza?
Everyone was curious about the news from Gaza
The moment the Americans and Israelis signed a “ceasefire” agreement and got their prisoners of war back, that interest disappeared!
Yet the blockade, occupation, killings, and media censorship never stopped

Why do Palestinians always resort to capturing soldiers for exchange for Palestinian captives or demands?
Because it is the only effective means of obtaining any concessions from Israel.
International law and UN resolutions don’t apply to Israel
The Israeli settlement model is based on recurring Zionist-Jewish immigration and military service.
If Israel does not agree to exchange captives with the Palestinian factions, this sends a message to the current and future settlers that their lives do not matter to Israel. And why would you serve in an army that does not value your life?
Israel has no future without recurring Zionist-Jewish immigration.
For Israel, a soldier or a settler who is taken captive is a liability, and it is better to eliminate this liability than be forced into concessions. This is what’s known as the Hannibal Directive.
