Gaza Ministry of Education:
- We mourn student Rimas Ismail al-Madhoun (16), who was killed by the Israeli occupation shortly after returning from Al-Saraya Secondary School for Girls today, Tuesday.
- Death has become an almost daily occurrence among students due to the suspicious silence of the international community, human rights organizations, and child protection organizations, which provides the occupation with impunity and allows it to continue shedding the blood of our students.
- The Israeli occupation was not content with bombing the University College of Applied Sciences this morning during school hours, killing one Palestinian and injuring 14 students.
It committed another crime by killing the child Rimas al-Madhoun, whose young age did not spare her from the machinery of killing and genocide.
- Rimas has joined a long list of more than 21,000 male and female students killed during the ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, deprived of their right to life and even the opportunity to fulfill their dreams through education.
