Hussam Badran, head of Hamas’s National Relations Office, held a phone call with Father Manuel Musallam to check on his health following a recent illness, wishing him a speedy recovery
During the call, Badran briefed Father Manuel Musallam on the latest developments on the Palestinian scene and discussed several national issues with him, foremost among them the Palestinian elections and ceasefire negotiations.
Father Manuel Musallam conveyed his greetings to the Hamas leadership, and expressed his appreciation for the movement’s national positions.
He affirmed his support for the Palestinian position of upholding national rights and stressed the need to strengthen unity and cohesion in the face of the challenges confronting the Palestinian people.

The continuation of the policy of aggression pursued by the fascist occupation government against the countries and peoples of the region, and its violation of their sovereignty, will only lead to further tension and instability in the region. This requires effective action by the international community to restrain the occupation, compel it to stop its crimes, and hold its leaders accountable before international courts.
