The memories came all together, and the groom, the sole survivor, broke down emotionally and then physically, remembering his sisters, brothers, and parents, nieces and nephews, who had dreamed of this day for him.
Abu Sayyaf’s wedding ended with him in a hospital bed, where he was given oxygen as he struggled to regain breaths overwhelmed by grief.
