The occupation’s approval of new zones for settlements in the West Bank represents a further escalation of its fascist settlement policy, aimed at swallowing up and stealing more of our land and imposing the reality of annexation and displacement by force.
We warn of the escalating confiscation of land, the daily emptying of new areas in the West Bank, depriving them of the necessities of life, fragmenting them, and turning them into isolated communities.
We stress that all these settlement projects will not grant the occupation any legitimacy or sovereignty over our land, nor will they bring it security or stability.
The occupation’s settlement plans and its attempts to impose the reality of annexation and displacement will be shattered by the steadfastness of our people, their resilience, and their attachment to their land and rights.
Our people, who have confronted decades of occupation and aggression, will not relinquish their land, and the occupation’s crimes and brutality will not succeed in uprooting them from it or breaking their will.
We demand that the international community assume its responsibilities, not limit itself to condemning this brutal settlement expansion, work to hold the occupation accountable and halt its settlement projects, and compel it to respect international laws and resolutions.
We call on our people in the West Bank to strengthen all forms of resistance and activate means of confrontation to thwart this settlement expansion. Protecting the land is a collective responsibility, and holding firmly to it is the first line of defense for our people’s rights and the future of their national cause.
