According to Yemeni sources,
Sanaa government forces (Houthis) are now just a few kilometers away from the port city of Mocha in southwestern Yemen and are advancing toward taking control of the city.
Videos are circulating showing the Giants Brigades, which were primarily backed and founded by the UAE and are now part of the Yemeni forces affiliated with the Saudi-backed Aden government, withdrawing and refusing to continue fighting. (See video)
Residents of Mocha, including children and women, are scared and do not know what is going on.
Hopefully, the Sanaa government forces (Houthis) display a great sense of responsibility and reassure and protect the residents if they take control of Mocha.

How Saudi Arabia Is Handing Iran More Influence in the Arab World:
What Saudi Arabia does not understand in Yemen, and what Iran understands very well and uses, is that religious discourse, political Islam, displaying hostility toward colonialism, and supporting Palestine (whether only for political gains or genuinely) are now the main political drivers for Arab peoples, especially after the Flood and the genocide in Gaza.
Democratic, secular, and liberal discourse has become resented in the Arab world because of what Arab peoples have seen, and continue to see, of the horrific actions in Gaza by those who carry these slogans and ideologies.
Yemen is the best example. Saudi Arabia has considerable influence over the Salafi movement in all its branches, which serves as its soft power, and it uses this influence in all its projects, all of which are completely aligned with American and Israeli interests in the region.
Gaza exposed this movement, and this movement is only a few drops in the Sunni Arab ocean.
The main reason millions of Yemenis have aligned themselves with the Houthis and their project is their declared hostility toward Israel and America, despite Yemen having a Sunni majority, while Zaydi Shia are a minority to which the Houthis belong.
When Saudi Arabia fights Sunni political Islam in every single Arab country, funds coups, and demonizes not only Sunni political movements but also Islam more broadly, while completely adopting the Israeli narrative through its media outlets, such as Al Arabiya, Al Hadath, Asharq Al-Awsat, Afghanistan International, indepndent persian…. it is simply handing more influence to Iran.
